Alexandra: "Never
dull, is it?"
Edmund: "Oh, around
here? No, never."
Alexandra: "Thank
you."
Edmund: "Why, are you
thinking about maybe sticking around?"
Alexandra: "Oh, as
soon as Gillian's well, I'm out of here."
Edmund: "Oh, that's
right. We're not your cup of earl grey."
Alexandra: "Oh, I
wouldn't say that. Pine Valley has its charms. David isn't one of them."
Edmund: "What do you
make of the David-Erica liason?"
Alexandra: "You know,
I walked in on them once, when they were in his office. And she was already lobbying for
him to be head of the Andrassy Foundation. I told her that Dimitri wouldn't want him for
the job. Or for her."
Edmund: "That must
have gone over well."
Alexandra: "Yeah. It
really sealed our friendship. She doesn't know what she's in for really. Oh."
Edmund: "So you're
thinking it's more than just political? Thank you."
Alexandra: "Thank
you. Yeah. Seen the top she's wearing? Ever since they got together, it's really been for
David's advantage. I mean, she's already persuaded Palmer and Millicent Greenlee to Push
for him."
Edmund: "Hmm. So
they're trying to strong arm you into giving David the position."
Alexandra: "It's
going to be a bumpy ride."
Edmund: "Well, they
better fasten their seat belts... because I know my brother did not want David to head the
foundation. On the other hand, my brother didn't want anyone but you."
