Edmund and Brooke serve as hosts for the evening.

A stunned Anna and David stare at the statue. Most people, except Anna,  think David's the drug lord, Proteus.

Anna looks over the statue for clues to the identity of Proteus.

Anna and Chris rush out to discover David's punched Roger, who then shouts that David cares only about his drugs.

A shaken Edmund and Brooke both still believe David's Proteus. 

Brooke reminds Edmund, who's forced to dance with some socialite, that it's for a good cause.

Everyone's astonished when the auctioned sculpture is revealed to be a faceless statue named "Proteus."

David, who earlier had a blowup with his mother, informs her Proteus was a greek god who could change his identity. Unfortunately for him, David, as well as everyone else in the room, has no idea that Vanessa is actually Proteus.

Edmund tries to remind an agitated Hayley, who's annoyed with the way Simone is hanging onto Mateo, that she and Mateo are faking their breakup.

Anna and Chris argue over his demand that she slip David truth serum without David's consent.

Palmer, the winner of the auction, requests Anna be careful with his new sculpture.
