- Monday, April 1, 2002-
David confronts Anna about arresting Leo, and
Anna catches Greenlee's full attention when she reveals to David that Leo
tampered with evidence. David reacts badly to the news that Trey will represent
Vanessa, and Anna urges Leo to tell David the truth about his father. Leo
finally acquiesces, and David ultimately thanks Leo. At the same time, Anna
cautions Greenlee to remain patient and hear the whole story before she jumps to
judge Leo.
- Tuesday,
April 2, 2002- Adam manages to get a picture of Anna with David in
a moment of passion, and Adam promises to print the photo unless Anna brings
charges against David for using his wife. Anna intercepts a call from Dixie to
David.
- Wednesday, April 3, 2002-
David rips the phone away from Anna, and the
renewed argument over Dixie compels Anna to blurt intentions to testify against
David in court. David urges Anna to change her mind, but Anna remains firm, and
David makes a cryptic call upon her departure. David then pays a visit to Maggie
and reveals he intends to leave town, while Jackson informs Anna that a burst
pipe destroyed all of the physical evidence against David. However, David shocks
Anna when he arrives to announce that he made a deal and will do prison time.
- Thursday,
April 4, 2002- Anna advises David of the change in his case due to
the destroyed evidence, but David appears ready to sacrifice his freedom in
order to make things right with Anna. However, Anna refuses to let David go to
jail and informs Jackson that she will not testify against her husband. After
watching Anna blatantly kiss David, Jackson accuses Anna of marrying David to
protect him, and Jackson promises to keep the case alive by going after Anna.
Back at the hotel, David and Anna proclaim their love for one another.
- Tuesday, April 9, 2002-
David offers to help Maggie enroll in a pre-med
program. David and Leo convince Maggie to stay in Pine Valley over an amusing
dinner, and David announces that Anna and he have married.
- Thursday,
April 11, 2002- Jamie interrupts Adam and Tad's argument to share
his frustrations about having to miss a ballgame to accommodate Edmund, and Tad
dashes off to find Brooke. Tad interrupts Brooke and Edmund's romantic getaway
to confront the two about giving Jamie mixed signals, and Brooke reacts with
concern for Tad. David visits Anna at work, and David insists that he played no
part in destroying the evidence against him. Anna secretly tests David's
fingerprints, and Jackson walks in on Anna as she discovers that the prints
match those found at the site of the tampered evidence. Anna covers in front of
Jackson, and Jackson lectures Anna for abusing her position. Jackson and Trey
overhear a struggle, and the two men discover crazed Vanessa embroiled in battle
with Leo. David arrives to find Vanessa reenacting her past with husband
Charles, and devastated David orders Jake to do a chemical screen on Vanessa.
David and Leo continue to bond as brothers, and horror grows when Vanessa
vanishes. Meanwhile, Brooke leads Edmund into his surprise.
- Friday,
April 14, 2002- David finds a syringe in Vanessa's room, and
Jackson suspects David played a role in Vanessa's disappearance. David and Leo
question Palmer about their mother, and Leo confronts Trey when he spies Trey
with Greenlee. Tad informs Brooke and Edmund that Jamie and he will attend their
celebration, but Tad pulls Edmund aside and blasts him for frightening Jamie
with his article about Vanessa. Edmund apologizes for upsetting Jamie, and Tad
ends up spilling the true root of his upset when Brooke continues to probe. All
gather for Brooke and Edmund's celebration, but Vanessa puts a major damper on
the event when she crashes the party and holds a knife to Greenlee's throat.
- Monday,
April 15, 2002- Anna reveals to Maggie that Vanessa remains on
the loose, and Maggie insists upon joining Anna when she learns about the
hostage situation at the Valley Inn. With Greenlee forcibly at her side, Vanessa
announces to her captive audience that the time has arrived for her grand
finale, and Vanessa promises to kill Greenlee if anyone leaves the room before
the end of her show. Vanessa takes the opportunity to slam the guests at the
party, and she informs David that she and his father sold drugs. Mateo and Edmund subdue Vanessa, and Maggie stands up to
Vanessa before Anna leads Vanessa away in cuffs. Jamie reacts badly to Vanessa's show, and Tad
interferes with Edmund's attempt to comfort Jamie. Meanwhile, David tells Anna
and Jackson that drugs induced Vanessa's psychotic behavior.
- Thursday,
April 18, 2002- David evaluates Leo's condition, and questions who hit
Leo. The doc gets his little bro confess that he stole their mom's
"mad" money and is spending it. Downstairs, Jackson intercepts Anna
and the duo exchange nasty barbs. Anna accuses him of having a personal vendetta
against David. Both threaten one another and Jackson warns Anna that he intends to
end her career. Anna's stunned by the degree of Jackson's anger. Bianca threatens to reveal Leo's latest
mischief but he stops her. Maggie, Leo and David
struggling with family issues and Anna feels like an outsider when no one will
tell her what's going on. She quickly deduces a struggle took place in the room
and hurt, reminds them she's technically family too before storming off. Calling
Leo a screw up, David quickly takes off to find his wife.
- Friday,
April 19, 2002- Anna
interrupts Erica's close moment with Chris to talk to him about a job offer.
After some intense discussion, particularly on the point of David, Chris accepts Anna's offer to
work with her and to tie up the loose ends on the Proteus case. David uncovers the results of Vanessa's
drug tests, and Leo accuses David of endangering Greenlee's life when he learns
that Libidozone caused her psychosis.
- Monday,
April 22, 2002- Anna and David continue to speculate
about who framed David, and they confirm their partnership by making love.
- Thursday,
April 25, 2002- Jamie interrupts Tad and Edmund's argument by
sending a vase crashing, and Brooke further jolts Tad and Edmund when she
suggests that all three attend family counseling together. Later, Brooke
declines Edmund's offers to comfort her, and Edmund spies as Brooke praises
Tad's decision to put his search for Dixie on hold in order to focus on his son.
Trey intervenes when Anna questions Leo about the cash found in his hotel safe,
and Anna warns Leo to remain in town. David chastises Leo for attempting to
split without telling David, and Trey eavesdrops as David encourages troubled
Leo to work things out with Greenlee. David overhears Anna conversing with Chris
on her cell phone, and Anna relays to David that an anonymous caller alerted her
to Leo's stash of cash and to his imminent departure.
- Monday,
April 29, 2002- David
discovers that Maggie feels neglected when he probes Maggie about her experience
with Bianca, and David racks up points in Anna's eyes when he expresses his
desire to buy a big house where they can all live as a family.
