who's wearing what on the red carpet, and now she's host of
her own show on The Style Network.

Finola Fashions Herself a New
Future! Hughes is not one to let grass grow under her feet now that she has
wrapped up her full-time AMC run and relocated to Los Angeles. For in addition
to possible recurring appearances on AMC, she also has on her slate the launch
of a jewelry collection, her hosting of a style show and the authoring of
a book.
Recalling
the impetus behind the Finola Hughes jewelry line, designed by Sol Rafael, the
actress says, "Our main focus is on making pieces for everybody."
So while the collectin boasts some baubles that are more akin to Emmy night than
a PTA meeting, Hughes says "We're also going to offer smaller pieces that
are very modern and very wearable."
SID also
has confirmed that Hughes will host Style Network's coverage of Mercedes-Benz
Fashion Week Spring Collections 2004, starting Sunday, September 14 (September
15 on E! rebroadcasts). "It's going to be really fun," says the
co-host of SoapNet's Daytime Emmy arrivals special.
Lastly, SID
hears that the Emmy winner/fashionista has been signed to pen a book, but

Soap Actress to Host Fashion Week Coverage (Yahoo News, Aug 22,
2003) NEW YORK - Finola Hughes will host the Style Network's coverage of New York Fashion Week, which will be
held Sept. 12-19 at Bryant Park in midtown Manhattan.
She will be joined by Lloyd Boston; Brini Maxwell, host of Style's upcoming
"The Brini Maxwell Show"; and "Behind the Velvet Ropes" host
Lauren Ezersky, the cable network announced Wednesday. Style is the official
broadcast TV network of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
"I'm thrilled to be joining the Style team," the actress said in a
statement. "The network has given me the unique opportunity to enter the
lifestyle genre, one of my passions, as part of Style's Fashion Week team."
Hughes (Anna Devane on ABC's "All My Children") recently designed
and launched her own jewelry line with Sol Rafael. Three tents will be set up in Bryant Park for press and retail buyers to view
the spring 2004 collections by Kenneth Cole, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la
Renta, Michael Kors, Vivienne Tam, Anna Sui and other designers.
