Following a hunch, Sean checks with the WSB to learn that Faison is an expert at mind control. Both he and Anna force Robert to remember what really happened after Robert refuses to talk to Anna and throws her out of his office. Robert asks for forgiveness, though he's still suspicious. Anna gets a call from a mysterious man and rushes off without telling Robert what's going on. Later, she returns to reveal that she's helping Mac and that Dom's alive. Finian's managed to get fake ids and plane tickets for them to escape. Robert insists she take him to see them. When they don't see them immediately, Robert starts up again about her misleading him by allowing Mac and Dom time to escape, to which she responds, "Because LIGHT OF MY LIFE, he (Mac) asked me not to (tell you)!" Mac and Dom then show up and the four say their goodbyes. Robert doesn't turn them in, but none of them notice that Dom's dropped her scarf behind.  Returning to his office, Robert argues with Anna who only wants to get her purse and leave, but when things get intense between the two, Robert begins to having hallucinations of Anna and Cesar in bed again.

Deprogramming
Anna tries to be understanding as Robert is unable to be near her. Tom Hardy deprograms Robert, while a helpless Anna waits outside hoping for the best. Robin arrives and Anna explains that Robert's being treated for hallucinations that Cesar induced.  When Robin quickly figures out the visions have to do with Anna, her mom sharply tells her that she doesn't want to talk about it because it's private. Listening at Tom's door, Anna overhears Tom get control over Robert, who under hypnosis had attack Tom thinking he's Cesar.  She flees to the nearest phone and call Cesar, wanting to meet and tell him to back off. The session with Tom does the trick, though he warns the two to spend the night separately to let the therapy sink in. He also warns them they might still be vulnerable to Faison. 

Anna's meeting with Cesar is a big mistake, as once they meet up, he hypnotizes her again and programs her to spy on Robert.  She's really helping Robert by doing this, Cesar tells her. She then sneaks into Robert's office and plants a bug. Kisses confirm that Robert's cured so the happy couple reunite.

Clues Unravel
Desperate for another pill, Sean begs Robert for info to feed the Cartel. Robert tells Sean to tell them he's discovered that the Cartel has recently purchased a lot of canneries around the world. If they give you a pill, it means we're on the right track Robert advises Sean. The Cartel's unhappy about Robert's discovery and instruct Paul to tell Sean it doesn't mean anything but give him a pill. Bingo, Robert and gang are on the right track. They also discover Cesar's name in Taub's code book. Additionally, they find the letters BAFT repeated, dicphering that B stands for Barrett, F for Faison and T for Taub. So who's A?

Vagrants steal Mac and Dom's money from their mountain cabin. The duo get jobs at a nearby roadhouse. Taub's people find Dom's scarf at the Outback and turn it over to Faison, who realizes Dom must still be alive. Mac calls Robert to instruct him to send money via Conner, unaware that Robert's line is tapped. Mac's id and money order then is stolen. Mac and Dom flee when Taub's people show up. Flashbacks of rough sex with her hubby cause Dom to rebuff Mac, who tells her she needs to see a shrink. When she refuses, he leaves to return to PC alone. Reunited with Robert, the brothers figure out that Ray and Debbie are working for Taub. He confronts the duo, who flee the nightclub. 

When one of Robert's cops mention seeing Anna in Robert's office the day before, a confused Anna denies it. Sean and Robert quickly sweep the room and find the bugs. Anna can't remember being there or planting the bugs. Unknowingly, Robert says a trigger phrase that sends Anna scurrying to report to Cesar. In the hallway of the PC hotel, she informs him that Robert has found the bug. As Cesar's about to give her new instructions, Robert leaps out from behind the corner and punches him. A confused Anna snaps to and demands to know how she got there. Robert escorts his shaken wife downstairs and they agree it's her turn to be deprogrammed by Tom. Anna's session is worse than Robert's and she has to admit that she's attracted to Faison. She adds that her feelings for Robert are far stronger though. Cesar's devastated when he spies Robert and Anna smooching later than night before they retire to their room.

One Foot in Each Camp 
Robert, Anna and Sean draw straws to see who will be the team leader. Anna wins. Before bedtime, Anna tells Robert that so far Cesar is the only weak link in the Cartel... and she's Cesar's only achilles heel. She wants to let Cesar continue to think she's under his power so she can get info on what the Cartel is doing. Robert explodes and says no way. He finally caves since it's their only real in into the Cartel at the moment, but he makes her promise to meet only in public places. She agrees and will have another session with Tom to reinforce the deprogramming. The couple seal their agreement with kisses.

Taking a breath of fresh air outside the Outback, Anna pretends to be hypnotized when Cesar surprises her with a visit. He's amused when Anna tells him about Tom deprogrammed her. Before departing, Cesar asks for a kiss and Anna complies. Afterwards, Anna gloats to Robert that she succeeded in fooling Cesar but leaves out the part about kissing Cesar. They then spend the night making love at the Webber house after Robert agrees to buying it. Later, Robin's thrilled with her new home and Friday's pleased to be out of the kennel. Anna allows Robin to spend the night with her friend Jodie so that she and Robert can celebrate in their new home alone. A WSB equipped office is built into the new Scorpio house and an antique barber chair arrives. Robert likes his new gift.
