page 1 l page 2 l page 3 l page 4

Frisco seeks to protect friends from a killer.
Terror at the Brownstone
A handwriting analysis is done of the threatening Valentine card sent to Patrick. Buzz is elated when he's removed from the suspect list. Lucy isn't, and Jake gets her out on bail, upseting Bobbie. Tiffany gets a frightening suprise when she comes home to find bloody marionette puppets over the her doorway. The puppets have the names Terry and Patrick pinned to them, and red paint as blood. The Brownstone's in an uproar as its tenants are terrified that another murder will soon occur. Sean learns about the incident and retrieves a badly shaken Tiffany, insisting that she stay at his place for the night. Patrick's sure that Lucy's behind the puppets, and Frisco's discovery of a bial of musk oil on the floor of Tiffany's apartment supports Patrick's theory. The vial isn't Tiffany's because she's allergic to musk oil.

Frisco's pleased when Felicia, who's been taking care of Duke's Club, grows tired of living in Duke's penthouse and wants to move back into the Brownstone. She's going nuts trying to maintain the club and its tempermental staff. Since Jade and Terry are sharing the Jones's old apartment, Felicia plots a way to get back their apartment. At a tenant's meeting, she suggest various rooms swaps using the excuse that everyone will feel safer. Everyone agrees and the Jones get their apartment back.

lucynut.jpg (7932 bytes)The evidence piles up against Lucy and a trial date is set. When Jake accuses her of sending threats to herself for sympathy, Lucy jumps bail and takes off for Laurelton, intent on proving her innocence. Jake tracks her down and, during a heated arguement, the two end up sleeping together. Afterwards, a guilt-ridden Jake drags Lucy back home, but is intercepted at the airport when a mysterious woman aids Lucy's escape by bashing Jake on the head. Lucy plays along with the woman's insistance that Lucy is a battered woman (with Jake being her abuser). Unfortunately for Lucy, this woman later reveals her true identity- a deranged Sarah who was the real person murder- and holds Lucy hostage, repeatedly threatening to kill her. Frisco comes to get Jake from the hospital, who struggles to figure out how to tell Bobbie he was unfaithful, and the two take off after Patrick and Terry, the last two targets of the murderer.
