Cheryl Kidnapped
Cheryl's guilt over hiding the fact that Julian's still alive causes
her to nervously around Robert, who assumes that she's having kidney problems again.
After trying to get Victor to tell her Julian's whereabouts, Cheryl's drugged and held
prisoner by some mobsters, per Olivia's orders. Julian, frustrated that no one will
tell him who tried to kill him, confronts Olivia and realizes his sister masterminded the
assassination. She tries to explain that Duke was the actual target, but when Julian
rebuffs her, Olivia smugly informs him she's holding Cheryl hostage. While
everyone's wondering where Cheryl is, Julian pulls the gun on Dino, Olivia's henchman, and
demands Cheryl's whereabouts. Cheryl meanwhile manages to get the gun away from the
thug holding, shoots him in the leg, and flees.
Olivia
Shot
A bartender recognizes Tim and alerts the police.
Robert
forces Tim to confess to rigging the elevator. Later, thinking Anna's asleep, Robert
tells a furious Duke that he has proof that Olivia was behind the crash. Going to
check on her later that evening, Sean discovers Anna's missing. Robert's over at the
PC Hotel, monitoring Victor's birthday party, and doesn't realize that Anna's snuck
upstairs to confront Olivia.
Holding a gun on her, Olivia begs for mercy and a
distraught Anna replies, "My baby had no chance to beg for its life". The two struggle over the gun, and Olivia manages to grab it from
Anna. Outside on the balcony, Julian prevents Cheryl from shooting Olivia, and
unnoticed, they listen in on Olivia and Anna. Olivia's screams, followed by gunshots
are heard by Robert, Sean, Duke, and Victor. Arriving at Olivia's room, they find
Anna holding a gun and standing over a bleeding Olivia. Robert is forced to take
Anna back to the police station, as everyone thinks she shot Olivia.
Cheryl and Julian escape, but
a forensics team finds Cheryl's earring while sweeping the room for evidence. And
all the mobsters are arrested when Victor returns to his party
downstairs. Cheryl's afraid that her bullet hit Olivia, but Julian convinces
her that he deflected her aim and gets her to remain quiet. Victor easily gets out
on bail, while Olivia's getting worse. Tony has to halt Olivia's surgery due to his
dizzy spells, causing her to lapse into a coma. Out for revenge against Robert,
Scotty blackmails a fellow lawyer to get assigned to Anna's case.
Both Duke and
Robert believe Anna's story- after getting her gun from the Lavery house, she confronted
Olivia who overpowered her and shoved her out into the hallway. Upon hearing the
shots, she reentered the room, found Olivia on the floor, and had picked up her gun just
before Robert and gang entered the room. Unfortunately for her, the gun she picked
up wasn't her own, thus putting her fingerprints on the weapon, and her real gun's been
mysteriously put back at the Lavery home, unfired. A distraught Robert tells a
guilt-ridden Cheryl that "I have to charge Anna with attempted murder." Cheryl still keeps quiet though.
The Sneaky
Ashtons
Arielle and Colton catch up on one another's recent
activities. She claims that she was a pawn of the terrorists, that she flown to
Quebec to save him, and that she had her terrorist tattoo removed. He in turn tells
her about almost be convicted of Frisco's murder and finally falling in love.
Since
the Ashtons will be staying at the Q mansion because the Aphrodite needs repairs, a
jealous Arielle uses the opportunity to digs around and discovers that the love Colton's
referring to is Felicia. She also pays a visit to Tom Hardy, who's been treating
Colton.
During a session with Tom,
Arielle remembers meeting her current hubby, Larry Ashton. She lies to Tom that she
met Larry while trying to commit suicide. However, that meeting was actually a set
up. Arielle and associate Darius had arranged for Larry to see Arielle fail to pawn
an emerald necklace, then have Larry "save" Arielle from committing
suicide. Arielle had actually married Larry under orders. Larry has a fit when
he sees her wearing the necklace, and she responds by going to the Bucket of Blood to
dance up a storm while photographers take pictures.
Larry arrives just in time to
see his wife fall into Colton's arms. The photos of Arielle in Colton's arms,
wearing the necklace, make the international papers, where it's seen by a man wearing a
gold domino ring, just as Darius hoped. The emerald it seems fits it into the mouth
of the dragon bone to reveal a secret. Colton becomes suspicious of Arielle again
after receives a photo of her holding an uzi, but doesn't realize that an angry Larry's
figured out that his wife and Colton were once lovers.
Later, Larry arranges for the
Qs to see photos of the dragon bone lying about. Taking the photos to a professor
Grenzback, Edward and Alan are told that the bone is priceless if no pieces are
missing. Once they leave, the professor calls an unseen person to inform him that
the bone is the real thing. Ned warns his dad not to mess with the Qs, but a greedy
Edward's already sold off 4 million dollars with of stock in preparation of buying a
partnership with Larry.
After reading a file
called "Atlantic Investigations: Confidential Dossier- Sean Donely", Larry gets Lila to invite the Donelys for
dinner. At the same time, WSB chief Callahan threatens to send Sean back to prison
by bringing up the Aztec treasure again, unless Donely figures out what Ashton's up to.
Sean bugs the Q mansion foyer and the Ashton's suites, and overhears Ned making a
cryptic remark to his mother that their plan for Ned to get closer to the Qs is working.
The Donely's wedding will also be taking place at the Q mansion, amid all the
intrigue.
