GH/PC Fan Weekend Event Recaps and Pictures:

I've been fortunate enough to attend several GH fan events. The following pages detail some of the adventures my friends and I have had at these events.

No really going to post much about what happened at the Scrubs event since the Scrubs Board has done such a great job of recapping it.  Plus, there should be some good media recap in the next few weeks as there were two soap writers [Tom Stacey and Rosemary something- can't remember her last name] sitting two seats over from me.  Was thrilled to hear that Kimberly misses working with Uncle Mac [Lindze said the same thing at her event] and that Patrick was going to have scenes with Robert and Anna when he's concerned about "his girl."  There was a huge Awwwww from the audience following the "his girl" comment.  Not sure why Robin would go to Jason to talk about her relationship with Patrick- I mean, Jason isn't exactly doing so well in the relationship department right now himself. Plus, Jason was a lousey boyfriend to Robin, when you get right down to it.

Odd tidbits I recall- 1) Kimberly was actually wearing earrings!  Can't recall seeing Robin wear any the whole time she's been on the show this year.  2) No matter which room an event was held in, the lighting always sucked when it came time to take pics. And I learned the hard way that trying to learn how to use the red eye button on a new digital camera should never to tried at the time you're actually using the stupid thing.  3)  Jason's dimples are mesmerizing in person.  The man is hot!  And I'm pleased to say I not once called him "Jason Patrick" like I was afraid I'd do.  4) The Scrubs board members are soooooo organized!  I looked back and one was relaying what was going on over the phone as the event went on.  Which brings me to my last tidbit.  5) My roomie chatted for a while with Kimberly's mum at the luncheon and later told me that she said she does read the Scrubs message board.  My first thought was - Oh My God. The tongue!  How long did that thread gone on?  What did she think of those comments?  [Dam@ JFP for putting a stop to that] ... then my next thought was - Oh My God. The Fanfic!  Oh well.  Anyone who goes to that board knows we're a bit obsessed.

If you couldn't make the event, Curlyqgrl taped the event, with approval from the fan club.  As for the pics below, well, you can see I got a bit carried away.  Couldn't help it... had a great seat up front.
