1976-1977? Secret wedding
The two dislike one another on site. She thought he was an arrogant he-man. He snidely called her "Ms. Devine" and insisted their boss, Sean, give him back his old partner. Sean commanded the two to work it out. Battling all the way, the two fell in love while dodging the DVX, swam to Italy where they secretly married and honeymooned in Paris. Learning Anna was a double agent, Robert divorced his love, who didn't tell him she performed her DVX job to save Robert's life and was now pregnant with their child.

1985- Love child
Anna's horrified to arrive home and find Filomenia tied up and Robin missing from summer camp. Unable to find her child, Anna turns to Robert for help and is astonished to learn Robin was sent mysterious to Robert's care. The ex-spies put the clues together after Robin disappears and old pal Sean, along with Frisco, secretly work together to solve the Asian Quarter Mystery and find Robin.

1986- the lady doth protest
Before leaving PC, Robert arranges for Anna to be named co-police chief. The night of her inauguration, a mystery man gives Anna a spring of heather, peaking her interest. Duke Lavery then makes certain he's always in Anna's line of vision and the duo butt heads on anything and everything. One thing leads to another and the two fall madly in love, despite his involvement in the mob.

1988- A Scottish Affair
After a failed attempt foiled by reporters and Camilia, Duke's supposed half-sister, Anna and Duke finally tie the knot in a huge Scottish wedding. The groom wore a kilt, dancers performed the Highland Fling, the bride an elegant white gown with floor length veil, and Robert gave the bride away.

2001- Anna lives on!
Not only does Anna turn out to have a twin sister named Alex, but she's also very much alive, although suffering from brain damage due to the boat explosion. Residing in Pine Valley now, Anna once again police commissioner.
