The Con Game  In 1982, a mourning Luke happens upon the British beauty skinny-dipping in a lake in the mountains. The two become romantically involved as Holly and her family peddle an oil scam to the citizens of Port Charles.  Holly's romantic feelings for Luke cause her to regret her actions but she's kidnapped by her family only to be rescued by Luke and his best friend, Robert Scorpio. After a series of arguments, Luke wanders off and is presumed killed in an avalanche.

The Unexpected Husband  In 1983, a devastated and pregnant Holly agrees to marry Luke's best friend to prevent being deported. The marriage was to be temporary but the couple slowly fell in love with each other for real. After her miscarriage, she and Robert became closer and worked on solving the "Who killed Susan Moore?" mystery. Jealousy of Robert's old WSB flame pushed Holly to act on her feeling for Robert and the two consummated their marriage. The very next day, a stunned Holly came face-to-face with Luke. The confused Ms. Scorpio eventually realized she indeed loved Robert and the trio resolved to be friends again.

A New Adventure  In 1984, Holly joined Robert and Luke on their adventure in Mexico to clear Luke's name. She remained weary of Robert's old WSB boss, Sean Donely, and wasn't too thrilled about his moving to Port Charles.

The Ex-Mrs. Scorpio  Holly was stunned in 1985 to discover Robert had been married once before, to his WSB partner Anna Devane. The trio spent most of the year bickering, lying to one another or else suspicious of one another. Holly's suspicions about Sean were confirmed after he kidnapped her while trying to get the Aztec treasure. After being rescued by Robert, the Scorpios decided to move to Australia. She, Anna and Robert called a truce as well.

The Crash  In 1987, Robert returned to Port Charles with news that Holly had been killed in a plane crash in Australia.

She's Back!  In 1992, Robert was shocked to meet Dominque's new neighbor, Sabrina, who turned out to be Holly. Seems Holly didn't die in a plane crash but had gotten into a car crash in England while visiting her family. When she awoke from her coma, Holly was devastated to discover Robert had remarried Anna. She decided not to tell Scorpio she was alive but instead got back into the family con-business. Holly moved to Port Charles to look after Robin when Robert went to rescue Anna from the evil Faison.

The Last Laugh  In 1993, Holly's romance with Bill Eckert became complicated when his ex-lover turned up alive. Discovering Bill was two-timing her, Holly got even before leaving Port Charles.

The Scorned Widow  After seeing her supposedly dead ex-husband Robert on tv and very much alive, Holly decides to get even with him by trying to extort millions in exchange for vials of the antidote. She reunites with both her exes, Robert and Luke, before being hauled off to prison. Later, Holly manages to escape and goes on the run from bounty huntes along with Robert and Luke. In the Markaam Islands, the trio are joined by Robin, Lulu, Patrick and Dillon, Anna and Tracy. Holly's great escape with some found jewels goes awry after Anna interferes.
