After Robert's
death, Holly moved in with Mac to take care of Robin. For a time, it looked
like the two would become involved, but then she got involved in some nutty
twin sister story.
|

Felicia Jones became a very good friend to Mac, helping him with
Robin and managing The Outback, so of course it was only natural that..........
|
|

the duo would fall in love. They became engaged, but Mac
called things off after he learned that she was carrying Frisco's baby.
|

Mac then became involved with
social pariah Katherine Bell. Aside from being nice to Robin, many people
didn't understand why Mac would chose her, especially Felicia. When he
finally got around to proposing to Kat, she said no, having already eyeing
her next victim, Stefan Cassadine.
|
|

Katherine Bell and
Mac made a strange couple because they had absolutely nothing in common. The social
climber was mainly interested in money and power, and convinced a hesitant Mac to become
police commissioner.
|
Odd things happen. Kevin and Mac got over their disdain for
one another to become best friends.
|
|

To expose Lucy's
new guru friend as a fraud, the guys go in drag. Dressed as Eve, Mac actually had to acknowledge
that suave Sonny had a way with women. Kevin meanwhile got a little
worried with how much fun Mac was having dressing up a
woman.
|

As Norma and Eve, Kevin and Mac were some really ugly women, but
did they have some great one liners! Sonny gave "Eve" a once over not sure
what to make of her/him, and Lucy about gave Kevin a heart attack by coming onto his
"Norma" character. The frightening thing was that Mac was so into buying
the clothes, worrying about whether his shoes and bag went with his outfit, that even
Kevin got a little worried.
|
|

But even odder... Lucy convinced a skeptical Felicia they're
really best pals. This was pretty amazing considering Felicia knew Lucy way back
when she was the scheming sex pot pretending to be a mousy librarian. However, this
turned out to be great friendship quadrangle and the crazy adventures the four got
themselves into brought some sorely needed laughter to the show. One of the most
hilarious scenes was when Lucy & Felicia pretending to be nuns, and Felicia got stuck
going swinging on bell string. Hearing the ringing bell, Mac looked up and
immediately yelled "Felicia!". The man actually recognized his ex-lover by
her underwear!

At the 1998 Nurses' Ball, Edward, Scotty, and Mac escorted their
girls on stage in a skit to "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun". Robin, Maxie, and
Georgie were all in the skit.
