Classic Anna Quotes

*1985*
Anna forcefully takes Robert's place in delivering the fake black pearls to Mr. Wu.
Anna (to an unconscious Robert, after she knocks him out): "I hope you’ll forgive me, but I have to be certain that Robin has at least one parent alive."

*1987*
Robert's just returned to PC, and both he and Anna are now single.
Robert: "I thought I'd find you here (on the dock). Want an italian ice?" (He hands it to her.)
Anna: "Oh, my godness. Reminds me of Italy. Happiest days of my life."
Robert: "Some of mine too."
Anna (sadly reflecting): "I don't remember ever being unhappy then. I just seem to have these memories of us laughing and dancing around the village square. I though it would go on forever."

Anna's upset after they had to flee the assassins at Duke's club.
Robert: "I suppose I could have let you drive."
Anna: "Yes, at least we would have got here with all our organs in the same place."
Robert (insulted): "I'll have you know I have driven some of the finest crown heads of all Europe.
Anna: "Name one that's still in office."
Robert (incredulous): "Are you implying my driving's the cause for their losing their positions?"
Anna: "Perhaps their lunch."

Little Robin asks her mom to cook for a school function.
Robin: "Most of the other mommies will be making the food themselves."
Anna: "Most of the other mommies haven't tasted my cooking."

Robert and Anna are in Paris, and after tucking Robin and Filomenia in at the hotel the Scorpios spent their first honeymoon, the two go to a WSB/DVX neutral nightclub.
Robert (referring to Robin & Anna): "Do you guys really ever fight?"
Anna: "Are you kidding?  We have knock down, drag out fights."  (looks pointed at Robert)  "She has some disguisting Scorpio traits, you know."
Robert: "Oh, what about the disgusting Devane traits?"
Anna: "Those, well, um, that's when she's an angel."
(Both laugh)

*1988*
Duke surprises Anna at her PI office with ice cream cones.
Anna:  "I've been trying to do the bills."
Duke (teasing): "Don't tell me Sean left you with the checkbook."
Anna (smiles and licks her cone):  "Yeah, silly isn't he?"

*1990*
Casey wants to go to Spoon Island alone to retrieve the crystal, but Anna won't hear of it.
Casey: "I will go alone."
Anna: "You may have a lot of power, Casey, but I have power over the man (referring to Cesar) out there."

At Wyndamere, Anna and Casey are prisoners of Cesar, who's secretly watching them on a tv monitor. Casey's growing weak and needs the crystal.
Anna: "Right, I'm gonna do something about this." (she turns to go, but Casey grabs her arm to stop her) 
Casey: "No, this man (referring to Cesar) is dangerous."
Anna: "I know he's dangerous. Don't worry about it."
Casey: "Frisco's right, you are stubborn."
Anna: "You're just figuring that out?"  (Casey laughs, while Cesar smiles.)

Sean, Robert, and Anna are talking about how they can steal another one of Cesar's secret faxes. Anna suggests her going back to Wyndamere and stealing it from him like she did with the first fax.
Robert: "Oh look, I know what you're thinking here."
Sean (worried): "Oh, wait a minute, Anna. You may not get away with this a second time. Don't press your luck, huh?"  
Anna: "Luck has nothing to do with it. Faison would love to see me."   
Robert (sarcastically): "Why does my blood go all thick when you say things like that?"
Anna (pensively):  "Ah, it's so weird. He'd do anything I ask."  (She looks up at Robert.)  "Pity the same could never be said of you, isn't it?"  (She smiles at him and walks away.)
Robert: "Yeah."  (He and Sean smile and nudge one another, laughing.)  

*1991*
At the PI office, Sean finds Anna preoccupied and confronts her about her feelings for Robert.
Anna: "What does he (referring to Robert) thinks gonna happen to him if he opens up to me?"
Sean:"You might found out if you hang in there a little while."
Anna: "That's what I've been doing."
Sean: "Um?"
Anna: " That's why I've stayed here all this time in Port Charles."
Sean: "Am I talking to a woman who's in love?"
Anna: "Yeah. I love him. I always have."
Sean (smiles): "Good.  See ya." (he leaves, humming)]

(another scene)
Anna: "Will the rest of our days be as exciting as this one?"
Robert: "All I know is life with you will never be dull."

( For their honeymoon, Robert takes a blindfolded Anna to the same hotel they spent their first honeymoon at. She remarks that she hopes it's worth it, after which he removes her blindfold -which incidently is his tie.)
Anna (surprised): "I know where this is..."
Robert (staring lovingly at her): "Where it all started."
Anna: "It is, isn't it?"
Robert: "Um hmm.  Um..."
Anna: "Oh, you're so romantic."
Robert: "Is that a yes?"
Anna: "What do you mean, yes?"  (She throws her arms around his neck)  "Oh, Robert!"  (she kisses him, stroking the back of his head)  "Oh, it's so lovely!"
