- 12/2- Sonny orders Robin to find a
doctor to operate on Jason, then flies to Hawaii to plead with Jason to
reconsider surgery.
Tony tells Robin of a surgeon who works miracles on hopeless
cases but
warns her that he'll be difficult to get. At a bar, Robin tracks down
the surgeon who might be able to help Jason.
Unfortunately, he's passed out.
- 12/5- Despite Sonny and Sam's
efforts, Jason refuses to have the surgery that could save his
life. Sonny says goodbye to Jason and heads home. Jason has a
change of heart and tells Sam he'll undergo surgery. Robin finds
Noah a drunken mess in New York City. After familiarizing
herself to Noah by mentioning that her father was Robert Scorpio
and explaining that Alan and Monica are Jason's parents, Robin
pleads with Drake to perform the surgery on Jason. His reticence
forces her to confess, "I am in no position to call you
selfish, because my motives for being here are just that. Don't
you get it? Jason's life means everything to me!" Moved,
Drake agrees to return to Port Charles.
- 12/6- Noah doubts whether or not
he'll be able to pull off Jason's surgery. Robin is impressed by
Noah when he performs emergency surgery on a construction worker
with a head injury. Sam accuses Noah of being a drunk and
refuses to allow him to operate on Jason, saying they'll get
another doctor. "Who? Do you have some encyclopedic
knowledge of qualified neurosurgeons? Because, please, enlighten
me if you do," an exasperated Robin retorts. Noah agrees with Sam
and has someone else in mind to perform Jason's surgery.
- 12/7- Robin tracks down Patrick, a
brilliant and obnoxious young surgeon who turns out to be Noah's estranged
son. Patrick
refuses to operate on Jason after learning Noah is involved.
Carly tries to convince Patrick to perform Jason's surgery.
Georgie fails to convince Lucas to tell his parents the truth.
- 12/8- Sam and Carly convince
Patrick to operate on Jason. Danger lurks in the hallway at the
hospital. Robin prevents Jason from leaving and convinces him to
let Patrick operate. "Don't let your pride get in the way
of your life. I do hope you appreciate the irony. Carly and Sam
hate each other, Carly and I hate each other. But all of us are
willing to put that aside and help you. You can thank us later,"
Robin grins. Later, she stands up to Patrick when he tries to
bar her from observing the operation.
- 12/9- Robin, Patrick and Noah work
together to try and save Jason's life when the power goes out
during the surgery. Manny is a definite threat to Jason, who has
dreams involving Sonny, Sam, Robin and Carly all begging him to
live.
- 12/12- Sonny gets confirmation
that Manny is in the hospital and tells Monica to alert Mac.
Scorpio and his men arrive and arrest Manny. Jason survives the
surgery but Patrick fears he could be left with permanent
damage. Patrick and Noah have a rare moment of accord. Patrick
returns Robin's praise of his surgery skills with an obnoxious
remark before walking off.
- 12/13- Robin is hurt to overhear
Jason tell Sam she was the one who saved his life. Carly makes
rude remarks to Robin as Sonny, Jason and Sam look on. Robin and
Patrick exchange hostile remarks after he accuses her of wanting
to hold his hand. He sums up her life as empty and centered
around her research. "You know nothing about me and how I
live my life," the angry young doc comes back. After
checking on Morgan, Patrick informs Jason that
he will need to be hospitalized for several weeks and will have
to take things slowly. He takes another opportunity to snidely
remind Robin that Jason and Sam are a couple. When Tracy has
Lulu arrested for theft, Mac advises Lucky that the best course
of action is to get Tracy to drop the charges. Drake has no desire to mend fences with
his father. Robin witnesses a rare moment of kindness on
Patrick's part, but he ruins the moment with yet more obnoxious
remarks.
- 12/14- After Patrick hits on
her, Sam warns him that next time Jason will kill him. Patrick
picks on Robin for Jason something to eat, trying to goad her
into admitting she's still in love with Morgan. Jason overhears
and has to be prevented from leaving his bed. Afterwards, Robin
and Patrick have another round at each other. He smugly reminds
her that he, not she, saved Jason's life. "Well, he's
alive. That's justification enough for me having to put up with
you," she angrily retorts. Patrick doesn't understand why
she cares for such a loser, and Robin's startled to learn that
Patrick thinks Jason is a drug dealer. She confirms Sam's claim
that Jason is Sonny's enforcer. Maxie,
Dillon and Brook Lynn try to convince Georgie not to feel sorry
for Diego and insist he must pay for what he did. Jesse and
Brook Lynn deliver damaging testimony against Diego. Georgie
takes the stand and admits Diego threatened her life.
- 12/15- Everyone, with the
exceptions of Georgie and Alcazar, skewers Diego on the witness
stand. Georgie tries to defend herself to her angry friends, who
feel betrayed by her efforts to help their stalker. Robin clashes with
Patrick after he takes over one of her cases and storms off.
Later, he embarrasses her and Sam by referring to the fact
that Sam and Jason are better off having sex in Jason's hospital
room. After Sam leaves, Robin and Patrick exchange more hostile
remarks. Patrick makes an unintentional
callous remark about being careful when having sex, causing a
hurt Robin to silently walk off.
- 12/19- Georgie is overly impressed
that Diego tried to prevent Manny from shooting anyone. A
wounded Dillon
is angered when Georgie continues to defend Diego. Maxie
apologizes to Georgie and the two sisters share a warm embrace.
A hostile Patrick verbally attacks Robin, accusing her of
cancelling his surgery. Noah intercedes and confesses he did it.
An uncomfortable Robin then watches father and son exchange
angry words. Later, Sam is outraged to learn
that Patrick is going to perform surgery on Manny in an effort
to save his life. Sonny offers to pay Patrick to kill Manny
during surgery but Robin intercedes. Jason arrives in the
operating room as Sam is about to smother Manny to death.
- 12/20- Patrick looks impressed as
he watches Robin handle Sonny. "This is a hospital. We save
lives here. We don't look the other way while they're murdered,"
she sternly reprimands the mobster. After Sonny leaves, Patrick
smugly tells Robin she didn't need to do that as he wasn't about
to ruin his surgical record by accepting Sonny's offer. Jason stops Sam from
killing Manny. With Robin assisting, Patrick performs a
complicated procedure on Manny and saves his life by removing
the brain tumor. Patrick publicly states that Manny's violent
actions were a direct result of the brain tumor. In Jason's
room, Sonny and Sam badmouth Robin for working on Manny. Jason
warns Robin not to visit Manny alone as he likes to prey on
women. Lucky accompanies Robin into Manny's room.
- 12/21- Patrick and Robin
refuse to turn their patient over to Dara. Alexis, who's been
forced to take the case, intends drop Manny as a client but has
a change of heart after speaking with Robin and Patrick. Tracy
forces Dillon to move back home in order to watch over Lulu.
Witnessing Robin's kindness toward Manny, Patrick picks another
arguement with her, accusing her of trying to save Manny because
she couldn't save Jason.
- 12/22- Georgie freaks out
when she comes across Dillon's body hanging from the ceiling.
He's rigged himself to appear like he's commited suicide to
guilt Tracy. Unfortunately for him, everyone else, particularly his mother,
ignore him as they argue with Lulu, who refuses to dress up like
an elf for the hospital christmas party. Robin tries to convince
Jason and Sam that Manny is a changed man. Sam's angry that
Robin would ask Jason to visit Manny to see if he's telling the
truth. Jason later goes with Robin to visit Manny, who
apologizes for shooting him. Lulu eavesdrops as Luke tell Skye
that the first time he saw Laura was when she was dressed up as
an elf for the christmas party and how much christmas meant to
her.
- 12/23- The annual Christmas party
gets underway at the hospital. Lulu joins Georgie and Maxie as
christmas elves. Patrick asks Robin why she isn't dressed up as
well, teasing, "You'd look adorable in one of those
outfits." His amusement turns to displeasure as he sees
Noah, dressed as Santa and staggering. Patrick realizes Noah has
been drinking but later reconciles with his father. Robin
receives her gift and hugs from Mac and Felicia. Audrey tapes
photos of Lila and Steve [with a young Robin on his lap] to the
nurse's station.
- 12/26- Patrick walks in on Robin
getting dressed in the locker room and makes impertinent remarks
about her social life. "I think that falls in the category
of none of your business," an angry Robin retorts. Calling
her back to retrieve her jacket, Patrick holds onto it long
enough to remind her that life isn't a dress rehearsal. At
Kelly's, Dillon urges with Georgie to toss away Diego's letter.
Patrick tells Jason that he's going to release him today from
GH, but makes several remarks aimed at annoying Robin. Sam
follows him outside and warns him not to goad Robin in front of
Jason. Patrick admits he's just doing it to see if he can crack
through Robin's professional facade. Back in Jason's room, Robin
admits to Jason that
she fears Patrick will no longer find her attractive once he
learns she is HIV positive just like all the other men she's
known except Jason. Later, Robin and Patrick find themselves
eating alone at the Metro Court. "This is silly. Give me
one good reason why we shouldn't have dinner together,"
Patrick asks.

- 12/27- Patrick and Robin begin
their meal with exchanges meant to annoy one another. "You're
a little sourpuss, aren't you?" Patrick smirks. The
conversation shifts gear as Robin explains that she became a
doctor because the first boy she loved died and a surprised
Patrick realizes Jason wasn't her first love. Patrick gives some
insight on why he's so driven not to become a failure like his
father. Once the meal's over, Robin refuses to allow him to take
her home and hands him the bill. Outside in the lobby, Robin and
Carly get into an arguement over Jason. Patrick overhears
the arguement and learns that Robin is HIV positive.

- 12/28- Robin slaps Carly after a
tacky sex remark. Patrick breaks up the fight and Robin rushes
off. Carly gives Patrick some insight into Robin, calling her
rival a bitch. "I think it takes one to know one," he
quickly shoots back. Back at GH, Patrick catches up with Robin,
who's devastated to realize that he's learned she HIV-positive
thanks to Carly. Robin thinks Patrick's concern for her is actually
pity and becomes defensive. He becomes angry and warns her that
if she acts like a jerk, she'll get treated like a jerk. Courtney doesn't share her fear
about Jax with Jesse. Jax swears to Courtney that he didn't hit
Dr. Meadows with his car. Jesse finds a dent on Jax's front
fender. Jesse and Maxie have a romantic date at the Metro Court
Hotel restaurant but are shocked by the prices.

- 12/29- Dillon and Georgie argue
after he finds out she lied to him and is corresponding with
Diego. When Lucas defends her, Dillon accuses him of hitting on
Georgie and confesses he's jealous. Jesse informs Maxie that he
doesn't celebrate New Year's Eve as his brother died that night.
Dillon's stunned when Lucas comes clean about being gay.
