1980-1981 - all 17
1980-1982 series are 3rd gen, org Beta. These tapes vary in length from 5 1/2 - 6 hrs
each. They may end around 5 hrs then have an interview or two.

Rose & Joe by Patty Kelly's hospital bedside, he's been shot by Frank Smith's men
(don't have proof). Frank Smith tries to pump Leslie for info about where Laura is.
L&L in Beecher's Corner's on the run from Frank Smith. Hutch
caught in Luke's trap, but they become friends. Susan Moore at the disco. L&L tell
Hutch all about Frank and being on the run. Patty Kelly (Joe's dad) in the hospital with
Rose, Joe, and Leslie. Anne & Jeff Webber (cutie Richard Dean Anderson). Laura
impressed by Hutch's guitar playing, Luke's jealous. Leslie talks to Joe about his dad.
L&L and Hutch leave in van for Fair Oaks. Hutch sabotages the van, cop comes by and
Hutch covers. They decide to camp out with sleeping bags. Jessie Brewer and Bobbie.
L&L smooch (she's in that horrid black wig). Then L&L next am, Burt Ramsey
in local diner looking for L&L. Bobbie (in her hooker/nurse uniform) & Leslie.
L&L at restaurant in Fair Oaks. Joe & Bobby. Leslie gets a letter from Rick. Hutch
with L&L at restaurant. Patty, Rose, and Joe. Switches to Black & white: Anne
& Jeff. Bobbie and Joe take presents to Frank's house so they can snoop and try to
find out where his daughter Jennifer is. L&L talk. Leslie and Scotty, later she reads
letter from Rick. Anne, Jeff & PJ. Diana Taylor tells Howard that she's worried that
Heather will get better and escape from the asylum and take PJ. L&L & Hutch still
at restaurant. Diana & Patty. Bobby covers snooping when Frank walks in, don't think
he's fooled. Luke dresses up and goes digging for info on Frank. Heather in aslyum, Scotty
goes to visit . Bobbie shows Joe letter she took from Frank's. Jeff & Anne. L&L
get info on property. Steve, Diana treat Patty whose getting worse. Amy & Jesse
Brewer. Laura in Post Office - sees that Luke is being followed, Luke pays someone to get
black book out of the bus locker. Hutch sings song about Left Handed Boy to himself.
Frank and Jennifer Smith. Hutch, L&L, and Sally. Hutch sings "Kansas City".
Susan Moore and Jeff talk about Heather. Heather in asylum pretending she's nuts as she
doesn't want to face charges of slipping LSD to ? Susan visits Heather. Luke calls Laura,
she tells him about the tail. L&L back together at Sally's - decorate the place. Frank
and Jennifer, he calls Leslie. L&L continuing decorating and talk about him almost
marrying Jennifer. Hutch calls Frank to report. Jesse, Dan Rooney, Steve & Joe.
L&L & Hutch and Sally. Anne & Jeff. Hutch and L&L collecting info. Luke
figures out Hutch is bad guy. Quality - there is a section of this that is B&W. The
first half of this tape is old interviews see listing.
#2 - Conclusion of Left Handed Boy Storyline, Beg. of Q's & Cassidines. 5:32

Patty, Joe and Jeff. Leslie & Rose about Patty Kelly. Jeff & Anne.
L&L & Hutch at Sally's. Joe, Rose, & Patty at his hospital bed. Jeff, Joe, and
Leslie, Joe & Anne. L&L smooching. Hutch gets a gun out of his hiding place
when no one is around. Leslie and Bobbie talk about L&L. L&L say their goodbyes as
Luke is off to pick up Frank's black book at the bus station locker. Patty dies while Joe
is at his side. Joe tells Rose. Frank calls and talks to Leslie - she ca hardly contain
her anger. Joe & Bobby - she keeps him from going after Frank. Luke asks Sally if
Laura can stay with her while he goes out. Steve & Audrey get the call about Patty.
L&L kiss and say goodbye
again. Hutch readies his gun. Bobbie & Joe in car talk. Rose, Joe, Anne at Hardy's.
Luke calls Laura from the bus station. Joe & Bobby with little Mike, Rose, they grieve
for Patty. Luke pays a guy to get the black book out
of the locker. Anne & Jeff. Luke & Hutch. Luke is onto Hutch working for Frank.
Great outdoor scenes, Luke & Hutch in outdoor mall, courtyard area. Luke sees Hutch
and takes off. Bobby & Joe getting ready to break into
Frank's house. Leslie getting ready for Jennifer's birthday party to get the Smiths out of
the house. Rick calls Leslie. Still outside, Luke meets Laura sees Sally and rushes Laura
back to the restaurant. (Luke has figured out
Sally is spy for Smith. ) Hutch playing guitar while L&L plot. Hutch following Luke,
Luke sees statue and figures out who the Left Handed Boy is. Luke argues with Laura, wants
her to go home, slaps her, and then puts her on a bus. (of course she doesn't go home!)
Jennifer's party at Webbers. Hutch still following Luke. Bobbie & Joe do the break in.
Laura comes back and is gald to see Hutch, he takes Laura into the magic shop and pulls a
gun on her. Joe Kelly and Bobbie go back to tell Leslie about break in. Luke has gone back
to restaurant (he doesn't yet know that Hutch has Laura), Sally pulls a gun on him. Hutch
calls Luke to cut a deal Laura for the black book. Bobbie & Joe with Leslie. Hutch
with Laura. Rick is back, Leslie tells him about party. Hutch and Laura, Luke & Sally.
Luke goes to meet Hutch. R&L eat and catch up. Laura is freed, exchange takes place,
Luke gets the gold out of the statue. Sally shoots at them, hits Hutch, Luke shot (classic
scenes). Rick & Leslie. Luke gets up and L&L take off. Joe calls Burt. L&L
steal motorcylce and make their getaway. Rick & Steve. A&M talk about Rick,
Alan is jealous. L&L back to Beecher's Corners to Whitakers Farm. They call Joe.
Monica tells Alan that one day Rick will want her, Alan threatens her to behave
respectably for AJ's sake. Mummy case arrives at the Q;s. Luke carries Laura up to bedroom
at Whitakers - they smooch. Steve Hardy talks to Rick and Monica about them working
together as professionals (they've had an affair and broken up). L&L smooching. Joe
& Rose. Luke & the Whitakers. Bryan & Gail. Monica and Gail talk about Rick -
Mon wants Rick back. L&L in bed. Hutch hiding out in the Whitakers barn with a gun.
Luke goes out to milk the cows but then skips ahead to Alexandria phoning Luke - it is
Thanksgiving show. Everyone at Webbers and at Q's going to Thanksgiving football
game. Alexandria wants Luke to come over to Q's. The Webbers Thanksgiving morning, Anne
& Jeff at Hardy's. Jeff & Alice plan to visit Heather. Heather in the asylum tells
another inmate about sneaking out, stealing a car, checking up on hubby Jeff (these scenes
on another tape). Alice calls Heather. Luke & Alex & Q's drinking champange talk
about his summer adventure. Webber's party, Laura flashesback to Wydnhams. (L&L miss
each other as broke up after they got back). Scenes at the park with PCers going to
the game, then back to the Spencers/Jeff & Alice see Heather. Leslie & Anne at
park. Laura, Richard Simmons, everyone else gathers at the park. L&L see each other,
Q's gather, back to Spencer's house, Webbers with their company. Laura and Luke both try
to call each other and get a busy signal. The Hardy's for Thanksgiving dinner, Steve says
a prayer. Q's, and the Webbers go into dinner. Luke reaches Laura. Then early Dec, Laura
moved into her new apartment. Leslie visits and brings poinsetta, then Rick shows up with
another one, Laura serves them cold coffee (cute scene), later they get good stuff at the
hospital. Luke hired to find Cassidines, he wakes up from being hit on the head and his
apartment is ransacked. (These first scenes with Robert hitting him over the head are on
another tape). Bobbie nurses Hutch. L&L (Laura working as receptionist for ELQ, Luke
also working for Q's to find Ice Princess. They tell him its a deed to a diamond mind and
the Cassidine's own neighboring mine - territory dispute, nothing dangerous.) Luke and
Alex and Edward, Luke is ticked over the attack and the Q's not telling him all. Rick
& Monica, Laura comes in. Hutch in the hospital wants to see L&L. A&M have hot
chocolate together at home. Joe calls Laura and tells her Hutch would like to see her and
Luke. Laura overhears Q's talking and goes to Luke's apt to warn him, Alexandria shows up
while Laura there. Rick & Monica celebrate a succesful surgery (its obvious that she
wants him back and is jealous of the time he spends with Leslie). This is all pretty good
quality. Tape ends at 5:32
#3 -(Dec 12,
15, 17, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 31 1980. Jan 2, 5, 6, 12, 23, 30, Feb 2, and April 1981)
Joe & Bobbie dancing, Laura & Susan all at Disco, Luke is there with
Alexandria. Laura is jealous of Alexandria. A&M, he's being very sweet. Disco stuff
cont. Laura, Bryan at her new apt. Luke moves upstairs from
Laura. Bobbie nurses's Hutch. A&M at hospital. Alex, Edward, Luke, Laura at ELQ. More
Hutcht, then A&M in cafeteria. Edward wants Laura to talk Luke into staying with ELQ.
Laura visits Hutch, brings him a Christmas tree, and sees Luke - several scenes. Diana
tells Leslie she's worried about Heather coming home for the holidays that she will be a
danger to PJ, at restaurant, joined by Laura and Gail. Leslie meets Alexandria. A&M
talk about Christmas party at the Q's, the Cassidine henchmen are plotting to be the
caterers. Edward is upset that so much ELQ $ is tied up in the missing Ice Princess
(A&M don't know). Luke & Alex. Leslie, Diana, Gail. A&M, Edward for the first
time worrying about the $ they are spending on the party. Laura runs into Luke with Alex.
A&M. Leslie visits Laura. Luke & Alex. L&L at ELQ, Edward & Alex. Heather
at the Webbers, home from asylum for the holidays. Jeff planning on seeing Heather, Joe
and Anne. Kathy Summers to be Heather's companion, they're
introduced. Laura receptionist at ELQ, Luke gets his own office. Anne & Diana talk
about Jeff & Heather. Heather sees PJ in the park and plays ball (exactly what Diana
is afraid of). Jeff asks Rick to stop by and check on Heather so he can leave her to go to
Q party with Anne. Heather goes byt he hospital, pretends she doesn't know Joe or Diana.
Gang at ELQ. Christmas party at Q's, Cassidine men are caterers and searching for the Ice
Princess in
the basement. Heather on the phone. Party cont., almost everyone there. Susan goes to see
Heather. Joe kisses Bobbie under mistletoe. Alex surprises Cassidines in the basement,
they push past her, big uproar as Q house is
searched. A&M frantic to check on AJ as prime kidnapping target. Anne & Joe.
Heather, Susan, & Jeff. Luke sees Laura home, they share a bottle of champange that he
lifted from the Q's. Luke helps Laura with her tree. A&M still upset over Alex and her
art attracting criminals to the house and endangering their son. Rick and Leslie at
hospital, Bobbie & Hutch. L&L at her place with the sticky door.
Henchemen plotting. Rick & Leslie at
restaurant share a hot chocolate -Christmas carolers. L&L at GH, more carolers. Joe
& Anne. Monica visits Hutch, then wants to talk to Rick about Hutch. L&L &
Edward, Alex at ELQ.
Joe, Bobbie, Anne at GH. Rick & Monica at restaurant, Alan comes in and sees them
together. Gang at ELQ. L&L run into each other outside her apt and talk about
Christmas plans. Luke working at Kelly's, Laura, then Alex comes in. R&L setting up
for New Year's party at clinic, Leslie's date is Burt Ramsey. L&L decorate Kelly's and
midnight New Year's party there. L&L have a wonderful New Year's kiss....I think the
only one on the tape. But there are LOTS of those great, longing-for-each-other looksJeff
visits Heather back at
the asylum.
4:10-:23 goes back to Christmas at GH:
children's procession for Christmas party, Steve tells Christmas story, Hutch plays
"Away in a Manger". Anne, Joe, then Jeff. Luke & Hutch. Luke helps Laura
with that sticky door again. Luke working at Kelly's. Heather back at Webbers with Leslie,
Laura, Amy. Rick sends Leslie flowers day after New Year's pary. Alex still presurring
Luke to get info on Ice Princess. Laura & Alex at ELQ. AT GH, Leslie thanks Rick for
flowers and he asks about her date with Burt. Laura helps Luke gather info, they huddle in
a phone booth, she's wooried about him. Heather, Howard, and Leslie. L&L hide in
bushes, then he pretends to be a census taker to try and get info on residents of house
where Cassidine henchmen at. L&L at restaurant,
she warns him he's in danger. Laura mentions her dating Robert, she's on a date with
Robert (her seeing Robert is making Luke nuts), Luke is there with Alexanderia. Rick
treating Robert at Laura's, someone whacked him over the
head. Rick calls Laura a bit concerned over Robert's presence in his daughter's apt. Luke
sees Rick leave with medical bag and later goes to check on her, he almost kisses her
(they still aren't back together but getting
closer). Luke confronts Edward & Alex, he knows they aren't being straight with him.
He wants to know where Robert fits into the quest. Robert & Luke at ELQ, Robert wanted
Luke to join him but Luke says no will stay with Q's. Leslie and Joe. Leslie & Burt on
date at Kelly's (wierdness). L&L back at her apt (both Robert & Luke want her
now). L&L go out to dinner for the first time and shock the town, Rick & Leslie at
restaurant. Great scenes between L&L as they talk about thier relationship. Small clip
of Richard Simmons aerobics class at disco.
