June
?: Anna assures an unconvinced Jimmy Lee that they
were right to bring Sandy to see Buzz. "We've got to
convince Buzz that nothing is worth losing a daughter,"
Anna insists, recalling her situation with Robert. Jimmy Lee
then agrees that maybe Sandy can bring Buzz back to himself.
Sandy arrives and disagrees, stating she wished she'd never
come. She agrees to stay and try again, however, after Jimmy Lee
and Anna gang up on her. Frisco and Felicia begin opening some
of their wedding presents. After he leaves, Felicia gets a call
from Duke who asks her to stop by his office. Anna arrives and
amuses Duke by chastising him for inviting himself over for
dinner last night. He invaded her home and imposed himself on
her child, she insists. Grinning, Duke retorts that since she
kept rebuffing his dinner invitations, he had to find another
way. Anna storms out after sparring with the leering Scot. Angel
comes in and tries to warn Duke from annoying the lady cop, to
no avail. Duke's becoming even more intrigued by Anna. At gh,
Tony and Steve talk about missing medication and Tony's worried
that Buzz is involved. Anna gives the rookie cops a
demonstration on how to escape handcuffs. Felicia's thrilled
when Duke offers her the job and tells him she's getting married
soon. Angel's not happy to hear her hubby's Frisco Jones but
Duke enjoys hearing that Anna is one of the bridesmaids. After
Felicia leaves, Angel complains, "Boss, you got some kind
of death wish or something?... Well, first, you hit on a police
chief and she gets mad at you. Now, you hire a blond who has a
police rookie for a husband." Duke assures him that having
Felicia as a bookkeeper will be a good way to keep Anna and
Frisco at bay. Frisco hits it off with his new big brother cop,
Vince, who's suprised to hear that Jones is being paired with
Ramsey. He's keeping an old promise, Frisco admits. Felicia
arrives and Vince invites the couple to dinner. Frisco's not
thrilled to hear Duke will be Felicia's new boss. Anna's annoyed
when a smug Duke joins her waterfront committee. Felicia gets
her first taste of what it'll be like married to a cop after
chatting with Vince's wife, who warns her being married to a cop
is no bed of roses.
June
?: An estatic Felicia
welcomes her grandmother. Meanwhile, four escaped bank robbers hold Frisco,
Vince, Lucy, Patrick, Ginny and Rick hostage at the Webber house. Rick and
Patrick are forced to doctor one of the wounded cons. At police headquarters,
Anna and Burt try to locate the robbers whereabouts. Anna fusses lightly at Burt
when he fails to mention women's contributions on the force. Both then take off
for the separate bridal and bachelor parties. Attendees for both parties run
into one another in the Brownstone basement, where Sean and the other men have
wheeled in a gigantic, fake cake. Sam is appalled when the men want her to
jump out of the cake in a skimpy outfit. At Anna's house, the ladies wait for
Felicia to arrive. Robin offers to babysit for Tanya when the baby's born.
Felicia's thrilled when a large present from Duke arrives; Anna's not. At the
Brownstone, the men are getting drunk and wondering where Frisco and Patrick
are. Recalling Anna's trick, Frisco works on untying himself from the ropes and
handcuffs. When Brian calls the Webber house looking for Patrick, Lucy manages
to tip him off without letting her captors know. Felicia overhears Anna talking
to Burt on the phone and intercepts her before Anna can take off. Hearing Frisco
may be in trouble, Felicia gets agitated and has to be restrained by the ladies
so she won't follow Anna. The cops surround the Webber house as their wives try
to deal with Felicia, who finds their calm behavior insensitive. She rushes off
to the Webbers. The cons realize they're surrounded. Anna prevents Felicia from
entering the house, remonstrating, "What are you trying to do? Get the man
killed!" Frisco manages to get free and he and Vince take down their
captors. He's confused when Felicia, who thinks he's been shot, flees from him.
June
?: Felicia cries in bed, refusing to let Mariah console her. Frisco
arrives and tries to joke off the hostage situation, an approach which infuriates Felicia.
"I saw the man I love get shot tonight!," the anguished bride-to-be
cries and insists she can't marry him. "I'm going to walk away now before I
become a widow," Felicia tells her stunned groom. A dazed Frisco goes
downstairs and tells everyone Felicia's calling off the wedding. Tony takes his
brother out for a walk to clear his head while Mariah tries to reason with her granddaughter.
"Felicia, you're running away," Mariah gently states, then warns her
that if she walks away from Frisco, she'll never get him back. Downstairs, Anna
and gang try to figure out how to fix the situation. On the docks, Frisco tells
Tony that while he loves Felicia, he won't let a woman make him give up a career
he's worked so hard to get. But he also won't let her walk away either. Tony
gives him an idea on how to convince Felicia his job isn't anymore dangerous as
other people's. Anna,
Jake and Bobbie discuss how Robin will be heartbroken at not getting to be a
flowergirl. Later, Bobbie and Terry try to change Felicia's mind but fail.
Frisco tries again to reason with Felicia and asks her to come see him graduate
tomorrow. Sam's arrival with the news that Nina went into premature labor hards
Felicia's determination even more to never become a cop's wife.
June ?: A harried Felicia cancels
the various wedding plans while Frisco waits with worried papa-to-be Vince. Sean
arrives to console Felicia but it's Tania who puts her straight, pointing out
Felicia's selfishness and the fact that Nina needs her. "She was there for
you last night when you needed it. And the least you can do is return her
support," an angry Tania adds. Frisco's nervousness over the baby causes
Tony to remark he's acting like a father-to-be. It'll be the closest I'll ever
get, Frisco retorts unhappilly. Felicia arrives with Sean but won't go near
Frisco. Anna reminds Frisco about the graduation ceremony and then urges him to
fight for Felicia. Across the room, Sean works on Felicia, telling her that he
lost his young love due to her fear of his dangerous career and that he's still
alive and what a pity it is that they're not together. Vince interrupts everyone
to say the baby's arrived. Monica arrives and chats with Sean, who says he's
failed at changing Felicia's mind. Smiling, Monica disagrees, pointing out how
Felicia's staring at Frisco. She then drags Sean off to make plans. As Felicia
looks on, Vince announces to the happy crowd that his son is being named after
Frisco. At the Brownstone, Monica and Sean arrive with two vans of floral
decorations. Tania tries to convince Monica that the wedding really is off, but
Monica insists that there will be a wedding. "Listen, maybe she's right.
Maybe if we just pretend the wedding's going to happen, maybe it's gonna
happen," Tony tells his wife. Sean, Tony and Tania decide to be positive
and pitch in. A gloomy Frisco graduates from the police academy and walks out to
find Felicia waiting for him in the hall. She hesitantly proposes to him and the
couple happily reconcile.
June?: Burt
drops by Anna's to give her info on Duke Lavery and she tells him she doesn't
know how to tell Robin the wedding's off. At the Brownstone, Felicia and Frisco
use the intercom to let everyone know the wedding's back on. Then everyone sings
"Happy Birthday" to Frisco. Word gets out around town the wedding's
back on. Sean assures Monica he'll move heaven and earth to make sure the couple
have a fantasy honeymoon. Burt and Anna talk about the WSB's file on Lavery. It
reads that he's clean despite his connection to Angel's mob lawyer. Robin gets
Bobbie's call and tells her estatic mum the good news. Felicia and gang panic
when they realize the caterer's been cancelled, causing Bobbie to place an
emergency call to Ruby. "Once a godfather, always a godfather," Anna
tells her gloomy daughter, who thinks once Frisco gets married she'll lose him.
Frisco then arrives and presents the happy little girl with a friendship ring.
"When you wear this, I just want you to remember how much I love you and
how special you are to me, okay?" Frisco tells Robin as her pround mum
looks on. Felicia's still freaking out when Guy's wife arrives and takes over,
reminding her that cops don't let each other down. She arranges for the music
and chairs and many of the other missing details. Later, Frisco and Sean arrive
and learn in the ensuing choas that Felicia had cancelled everything. More help
arrives. Mariah, Anna, Robin and Tania give Felicia her gifts. Tony enters to
ask the reverend's name and the horrified bride remembers she cancelled the
reverend as well. Anna puts an APB on the reverend. Alan's PI snoops around
Sean's apartment. Sean notices Duke's arrival and asks Monica who he is. She
remarks she saw him at the Policemen's Ball. Burt arrives with the reverend and
the beginning begins.
June
20: The wedding ceremony is
briefly interrupted as the police honor guard arrives. Frisco and Felicia then
exchange their vows and become man and wife. Alan and his PI think
Sean's setting up his penthouse as a love nest for him and Monica. He's
sure photos of the couple in a compromising position will win him custody of the
kids, but the real jackpot is their discovery of Sean's safe and proof that
Donely stole the Quartermaine fortune. Burt nags at Anna to question Duke though
she's reluctant to do anything that might disturb the celebration. Duke and Anna
exchange several barbs. She points out that his lawyer's mob connections can't
be overlooked. He retorts that she can't say anything about shady acquaintances
considering two of her close friends are Jake and Sean. Knowing it'll annoy her
even more, Duke pays a lot of attention to Robin. Sean notices Anna watching the
duo and remarks he sees a certain glint in her eye. Before leaving for their
surprise honeymoon, Felicia and Frisco toss the bouquet and garter, both of
which are caught by Anna and Duke. Lavery's amused and prominently wears the
garter on his upper arm. Sean and Monica have drinks at the PC Hotel Bar but
Edward's spying on them restrains their romantic mood. Monica insists they have
to be very careful with her divorce proceedings coming up. At the penthouse,
Alan and the PI have to make up a lame story when they discover the lovers
aren't Sean and Monica but Frisco and Felicia.
--need
to do a few episodes here-- July ?:
Seeing Anna clutching her wedding veil, Filomena urges her to
remember, while she and Robin are away, that Anna is a woman, not
just a cop. Felicia worries about money after their big wedding,
but her hubby brushes it off. Noticing his repeated glances at
his watch, Felicia gets him to admit he's got an appointement
but refuses to give any details other than letting his bride
think it's police business. Meanwhile, Duke and Angel check up
on the evening's arrangements to preoccupy Frisco with a card
game and have the Quartermaines to show up at the pub. Lavery admits that
Frisco's gambling will give them something to use against the
rookie cop, adding that they won't lean on Jones if he doesn't
force them to. When Angel asks if that includes Chief
Devane, Lavery confidently states, "That includes any
cop." Jake warns Monica to keep her reputation spotless,
particularly from being with "other" men, if she wants
to win the custody battle against Alan. The Qs fall into Duke's
trap by agreeing to a debate. Anna glances at Robin's "Vote
for Duke" poster and recalls her kiss with him on the
docks. Monica's anger at Sean sneaking into the Q mansion quickly turns to passion but Jennings later interrupts them.
The nosy butler notices Sean's shoes by Monica's bed. Clueless,
Sean assures Monica he won't be sighted before leaving. Felicia
tells Anna her worries about Frisco's night time undercover
work and a confused Anna assures her she hasn't assigned any
night work to Frisco. Neither Robin nor Anna can sleep that
night, so both snuggle down together and talk about the little
girl's trip to Australia. Robin proclaims she's too excited to
sleep and asks her mum what she'll do while Robin's away. Duke
comes up in the conversation and Anna remembers to give Robin a
kiss from Lavery. "I'll bet some of that kiss was for you
too," the sleepy little girl murmurs and drifts off. Anna
grins at Robin's perceptiveness.
July
?: Felicia assures a whining Terri that she's still
got people who love her. Frisco returns late that night and goes
to sleep before his wife can question him. She's stunned to find
a small wad of cash in her hubby's pocket. Duke stops by
unexpectedly to offer to take Robin and family to the airport.
When Robin thanks him with a kiss, Lavery grins and, looking
directly at Anna, remarks that in the future he'll send all of
his messages through Anna. Anna grins back. While Filomena and
Duke load the car, Robin looks for her coloring book and instead
finds Anna's veil. The little girl puts it on, asks her mum if
she looks pretty and then asks if she can wear it for her daddy.
Quickly taking it away, her mum tells her no, that it's a
special scarf... one she wore when she married Robert.
July
?: The house feels empty when Anna returns from the
airport. Lavery
amuses her by stating that he's going to make sure she's not
lonely while Robin's gone... since he promised Robin he'd take
care of Anna. She coyly tells him that might not be possible
since any sundry of people may stop by at any time. Grinning, Duke demands
to know if there's any man in particular she's expecting. Things
get a bit serious when Anna mentions that she's worried about
Frisco and tells Lavery about Felicia's visit. She hopes he's
not doing anything dangerous to prove himself. Frisco and
Felicia exchange words when he wakes up and discovers she's
found the money. She wants to use it to pay the rent but he
tells her she can't have this money and leaves. Anna counters
Duke's dinner suggestion with an offer to cook him a royal
British feast since she has to be at the house to receive
Robin's call. Retorting that everyone knows the only good
British food is Indian or Chinese, Duke nevertheless accepts,
summing up, "Well, well, well. The amazing Anna Devane...
she sleuths by day, she cooks by night." Tania dedeuces
that Anna's found a boyfriend after she and Tony run into Anna,
who's trying on clothes. Terri's bothered about being surrounded
by couples, particularly Patrick and Lucy. Duke's early arrival
allows Frisco to rush away before answering Anna's questions.
Realizing she's still on guard, Duke remarks, "You're
still very uncomfortable... is there something about me that's
making you nervous?" She denies it, saying she's edgy
because she's afraid she may have caused problems by confronting
Frisco, who's bound to realize that Felicia blabbed. Duke softly
remarks on how close she is to the Joneses. Meanwhile, Felicia's
talk with Tony doesn't go well since he now wants to confront
Frisco. The brothers argue and Tony warns him not to come
running when Anna busts him for whatever he's doing. Anna feigns
exhaustion when Duke tries to get romantic and is annoyed when
he calls her bluff. Telling her he understands, Duke kisses her on the
forehead and leaves. Retrieving her wedding veil, Anna softly
strokes it before tucking it away again.
July ?:
Frisco plans to be firm with his wife but seeing her distress,
takes her in him arms and tries to explain that there will be
times when he can't share with her what he's doing. Rule #1 is
that she can't go running to Anna, he begins, but Felicia comes
back with the fact that his dishonesty with her lends to her
distress. Both Anna and Duke can't sleep, and he amuses her by
calling and insisting that he can't sleep until she bids him
"goodnight... and sweet dreams." The next day is the
debate. Upon seeing Duke, Lila remarks, "I must say, he is
a very good looking man," to her grumpy hubby, who's
wondering where Jimmy Lee is. Duke and Anna smile at one another
from across the room. When he asks her if she's going to wish
him good luck, she responds that he doesn't need it if he's the
right man for the job. "I need a lot of things from you...
luck is a good place to start," he sly answers and the duo
grin at one another. Duke clearly wins the debate and wants to
celebrate. "I'll pick you up at 8 o'clock... and uh, wear
something to show off your legs, will ya?," the smug
Scotsman orders. Bobbie has a rough day after an accident in
surgery. A thrilled Lucy overhears Rick and Bobbie talking.
Walking on the docks, Anna and Duke talk about the Dock Workers
Union and her questions about possible mob danger causes him to
ask if she has come to care for him. You know I do, she softly
answers and they kiss. However, she turns down his suggestion
that they return to her place to celebrate.
July
?: Everyone gathers for the union vote. Duke and Anna
have an exchange about her status as someone's woman. She tells
him that she's no one's woman but her own and will see as many
men as she wants. "We'll see about that," he grimaces,
before being announced the winner. Sandy notices Anna staring at
Duke and confronts her afterwards. Anna swears she never made
any promises to Buzz other than to be his friend and to be there
for him. Duke introduces Anna and Felicia to an old friend from
New York, Damon Grenville. When Damon questions Felicia about
her hubby's occupation, Duke looks angry. Meanwhile, Tuffie's
quick departure from the card game spurs Frisco to sneak off
after him. Jones manages to get on Tessie's boat, but then gets
locked in. A private celebration is held at Anna's house. Her
curiosity about Damon is briefly answered but Duke makes
it clear that what he's interested in doesn't involve talking.
Anna quickly scuttles away using the excuse that they need
glasses for the champagne. Their
conversation later veers onto their former love lives and Anna's
disconcerted when Duke mentions that he knows she's not been
with anyone since Robert. They dance a bit and she
remiences about their first meeting. "I knew from the first moment I
saw you, you were the only woman I could ever want," the
swave Scotsman purrs and carries her off to the bedroom.
July
?: Frisco surprises his wife by showing up soaking
wet. Snuggled in bed, Duke and Anna admit that each never
thought they'd feel this way.
