more old.
Anna: "Robin? Oh, Robin you're alright!" (Robin jumps into Anna's arms and they hug) "You're alright?"
Robin: "Why wouldn't I be?" (Robert seeing them together starts adding up the facts)
Anna (big smile): "Oh Robin."
Robin: "What happened to your hair?" (at the time Anna was wearing a blonde wig to hide her identity from Robin)
Anna:
"My hair? Um, don't you like it?"
Robin: "It's brown like mine."
Anna: "Yes. I got tired of being blonde."
Robin: "You look better this way."
Anna (all smiles): "Oh, I feel better."
Robin: "You know what?"
Anna: "What?"
Robin: "You look kind of like me now."
Anna: "Yeah? I thought that too."
Robin: "It's nice, isn't it? Maybe you could be my mother." (At this point, Robert is frozen in his tracks) "The way I used to keep asking God. That people would see us together and think you're my mother. Maybe. Do you think they will?"
Anna: "Oh Robin. Oh, it's so good to have you in my arms again. I've been so worried about you." (hugs her tightly)
Robin: "So have I. Where's grandma? Is she alright?"
Anna: "Yes she's fine. She's in New York."
Robin: "How's her ankle?"
Anna: "Oh it's better."
Robert (recovering from his shock): "Anna?" (he gives small smile for Robin's sake) "What's going on here?"
Robin: "Yeah, why didn't grandma pick me up?"
Anna (puts Robin down and looks over at Robert nervously): "Um, it's a long story. I'll tell you about it later. But first I should call grandma." (she picks up phone)
Robert: "Uh, there is a grandmother?"
Anna (afraid to answer): "Filomenia."
Robert (wide eyed): "Filomenia?" (he looks down at Robin and then blindly leans toward the couch, sitting down slowly)
Robin (to Anna who's on the phone now): "Luv?"
Anna: "Yes, Robin?"
Robin: "You know Robbie?"
Anna (looking at him while she strokes Robin's hair): "Yes."
Robin: "He's nice, isn't he?"
Anna: "Very."
Robin: "I have other friends. Frisco and Felicia."
Anna: "Oh Frisco and Felicia? They're lovely, aren't they?" (pause) "Filomenia?"
Filomenia (on the other end of the line): "Oh mia cara, Anna!"
Anna: "Robin's safe. She's here. She's with me." (hugs her)
Filomenia: "And where are you now?"
Anna: "I'm at Robert's, um in Port Charles."
Filomenia: "And Robin is with you?"
Anna: "She's here." (Robert's staring dumbly at her and Robin)
Robin: "Luv? Could I talk to grandma?"
Anna: "Yes of course you can. Filomenia, Robin wants to talk to you."
Filomenia: "But don't talk in front of her Anna."
Anna: "No. I won't. I don't know any answers yet so we can talk about this tomorrow."
Filomenia: "In the meantime, everything is alright?"
Anna: "Mm hmm. Here she is. Now, not too long."
Robin (takes phone): "Grandma? How's your leg?"
Filomenia: "I am fine. And luv says that you're alright too."
Robin: "Yeah. I miss you. How come you didn't come for me?"
Filomenia: " Oh everything is alright now and we'll be together very soon." (Robert and Anna are looking at each other intensely during Robin and Filomenia's conversation)
Robin (to Anna): " I think grandma's crying."
Anna: "Oh? Um, she always cries when she's happy. Say good-bye and you can have a long chat with her tomorrow."
Robin: "Grandma? Luv says we can talk a lot tomorrow."
Filomenia (teary eyed): "Yes."
Robin: "I love you."
Filomenia: "Tomorrow we talk and I love you, mia piccola amore, buona notte." (they hang up)
Anna (kneels in front of Robin): "Alright, now then. From what I remember madame, you were in bed before all of this started weren't you?"
Robin: "Yes, but I'm wide awake."
Anna: "Yes, but I'm sure as soon as your little head hits that pillow, you shall be off into daydream land." (Robert just listening and thinking. Anna finally looks at him) "Uh, which room is she sleeping in Robert?" (He doesn't answer) "Robert?"
Robert: "Huh?" (turns to look at them) "What did you say?"
Anna: "I said which room is Robin sleeping in?" (clears her throat, holds Robin's hand, and waits)
Robert (stares into space): "Upstairs."
Robin (to Anna): "I'll show you."
Anna: "Ok and when we get up there I shall tuck you up and tell you a bedtime story."
Robert: "I told... I told her one."
Anna (touched): "You did?"
Robert: "First time."
Robin: "It was scary."
Robert: "About good guys and bad guys."
Anna (her motherly instinct towards violence kicks in): "Uh, it sounds...lovely."
Robert: "It's the best I could do." (Anna laughs)
Robin (to Anna): "Um, will you be here when I wake up in the morning?"
Robert (finally gets up, moves towards them): "Of course she will."
Anna (looks at him thankfully): "Yes."
Robin: "You know something?"
Anna: "What?"
Robin: "If I had a lemon ice, I bet I could go to sleep." (Anna rolls her eyes)
Robert: "Uh, fresh out I'm afraid." (doorbell rings and the guard walks in)
Guard: "Checking to see if the lady's coming out tonight and needs an escort."
Robert: "Uh no. The lady will be spending the evening with my other guest."
Guard: "Good enough."
Robert: "Uh, wait a minute. There is something you could do for me."
Guard: "Name it, Mr. Scorpio."
Robert: "Send someone down to the waterfront to pick up three lemon ices."
Robin (to Anna): "He's nice isn't he?"
Anna: "Yes, now come along you. I think you're stalling." (She runs upstairs carrying Robin. They're laughing and giggling together as Robert looks on and lets the truth sink in.)
