Robert on the Hunt

Robert's pouring a drink behind his bar.  Anna comes downstairs after checking in on a sleeping Robin.

Robert: "Robin asleep?"

Anna: "Yes, she never stirred when I switched the lights on.  She didn't even want her bedtime story."

Robert: "That's tired."

Anna: "Yes.  Mind you, I don't think any story could top the one she's been through today."  (They were chased by Wu's men in pursuit of the doll).

Robert: "Alright.  Let me tell you what's happened so far.  Ramsey put in a call to Wu's office and he was told that Wu is out of town.  I don't believe that."

Anna: "Neither do I."

Robert (starting to pace): "What could he possibly want that's in two jade buddhas?   I mean, the man has power, he has money-why risk it all for an attack on a police commissioner's child?"

Anna: "He's got everything in the world.  I don't know what he could possibly want."

Robert: "And what does he think we have in our possession?"  (He pauses and begins to get angry.  His look is intense.  He sneers)  "Oh, I'm gonna get him, Anna.  I'm gonna bloody well get him if it's the last thing I do."

Anna (worried): "You're so driven, Robert.  Kind of frightens me."

Robert (pointing to stairs): "That's our daughter up there!  Our child!"

Anna: "Yeah."  (relieved)  "But she couldn't be in better hands... her father's."
