Buzz Learns About Robin

After she knocks Robert out and leaves him tied up, she takes it upon herself to bring a set of fake pearls to Wu in order to protect Frisco. She runs into Buzz Stryker in the Asian Quarter. He notices her seriousness and he stops her.
Buzz: "Anna?  What's going on?"

Anna (frantic): "I can't stay and talk to you right now.  Please, I've gotta keep moving."

Buzz: "Well, that doesn't make any sense at all."

Anna: "Well, I can't explain it."

Buzz: "Anna, this isn't like you."

Anna: "Look Buzz, if you value our friendship, why don't you just walk away?"

Buzz: "Something dangerous is coming down in the Quarter today and whatever it is I'm not gonna let you face it alone."

Anna: "Well, I'm not facing it alone.  Robert's backing me up."

Buzz: "Where's Robert?"

Anna: "He'll be here if I need him."

Buzz: "Look whatever it is-whatever's going down I'm coming with you."

Anna:  "You can't!"

Buzz (grabbing her): "I'm not gonna let you go wandering around the Quarter by yourself!"

Anna (getting frustrated): "Let me go please!  I'm doing what I have to do!"

Buzz: "Which is what?"

Anna: "Protecting the life of my daughter!!"

Buzz (clearly confused, he is silent for a moment): "Your daughter?"

Anna: "Yes." (Pause)  "Robin's my daughter."

Buzz (shocked but won't show it): "Ah."

Anna: "I've got an appointment today to see Mr. Wu at his office."

Buzz: "About what?"

Anna: "He wants.. I have something he wants very much. Now I'm stalling for time so that Yank and some of his friends can rescue Frisco."

Buzz: "Robert let you walk into that kind of danger?"

Anna: "He had no choice."

Buzz: "How can I help?"

Anna: "If Robert shows up, don't let him follow me."

Buzz: "You said he was backing you up."

Anna: "Well, I can't let him."

Buzz: "Why not?"

Anna: "Buzz look, I have to be certain that one of Robin's parents are alive."

Buzz (knowing smile): "Robert."

Anna: "Now do you understand why I'm doing this alone?"

Buzz: "You're still in love with him."

Anna (avoids question):  "He's Robin's father."

Buzz: "No.  It's much deeper than that."

Anna: "Look.  I want him alive.  This is my decision Buzz and this is my problem.  Now I'm not going to ask you again."  (He lets her go and she takes off)
