Robin's Missing

Once Robert & Anna realized that Robin is missing, they gather a search party.  With the help of the Asian Quarter's Green Shirts (a peaceful band of Asian youths) and the Port Charles police department, they begin their search.  Buzz assists Anna, who is an emotional wreck, while Bert and Robert conduct an official search.  This scene takes place on the docks in the Quarter.

Robert (to Burt): "Where's Anna?"

Bert: "She's over there."  (They see her standing with Buzz, she's in a daze.)  "Listen, Robert.  We're having a tough time getting warrants.   We'll have to wait till morning."

Robert: "I don't care.  I want them.  Anyway you can.  I just want them!"  (He stares out at nothing, anger and fear are clear by his facial expressions.)

Bert: "Robert.  You're pushing yourself too hard.  You're gonna crack."

Robert: "This is my daughter we're talking about damn it!"

Bert: "I know that.  But you've got to pull yourself together."

Robert (calms down, yet still emotional, on the verge of tears): "If anything happens to that child, I'll never be able to face Anna again.  Our child's her whole life."

The Scene moves over to Buzz and Anna....
Buzz: "Anna.  Any news on Robin?"

Anna: "Nothing.  Nothing at all.  I don't know what to do."   (She starts to cry.)  "I'm really scared."

Buzz (grabs her by her shoulders):  "Listen to me.  If you want to scream or you want to throw things, or you just want to cry, do it.  Do anything you want."   (She breaks down in his arms.  Off in the distance, with a helpless look on his face, Robert watches Buzz comfort her.)

Note:  This was one of my favorite scenes.  It's short but it's oh so sweet.   You can see the
love and worry Robert has for his beloved Anna and Robin.  Sigh........
