Anna Breaks Down

Robert and Anna sitting down at home to eat.  Anna breaks down, throws her fork in her plate, and cries.

Anna: "I can't eat anything."  (Robert gets up and goes to her.  She stands up and he grabs her, and holds her.)

Robert: "Anna. Anna, come on."  (He kisses the top of her head.)  "It's not gonna be much longer now. It can't be. Come on, darling. You've gotta hold yourself together."  (He pulls away from her so he can see her face.  She looks up at him, tears in her eyes, and you can see the never ending worry in them.)  "Anna, I need you.  Robin needs you.  I can't do anything if you go to pieces on me."

Anna (shakes it off): "I'm sorry.  I'm sorry, I'm alright."

Robert: "You okay?"  (He holds her face in his hands.)

Anna: "Yes.  I'm alright, I'm alright."  (As Robert holds Anna, the door bell rings. *Suki and Olin* show up after their search for Robin comes up empty.)   "Olin, have you seen my little girl? I mean, do you have any idea of where she might be."  (Robert holds her by his side for support.)  "I mean, I can't believe she disappeared like this. Somebody must know where she is!"  (She wipes tears from her eyes.)

Olin: "Oh, I'm sorry.  No, nothing.  Not a word about Robin."   (Anna falls into Robert's arms and he tries to comfort him.)

*Note:  For those who are unsure, Suki is the grandson of Olin, the woman who eventually becomes Robin's caretaker after they lose Filomena at the hands of that lunatic Grant Putnam.
