Robin's Family

Robin: "I know she's not my real Grandmother, but I still love Filomenia."

Anna: "Well, so you should darling.  I mean she doesn't have to be a relative."

Robin: "Well, somebody has to be in your family to love them, right?"

Anna: "No..Where did you get that idea from?"

Robin: "I....thought it up."

Anna: "Alright, well think about this.  Don't you love a lot of people who aren't in your family?"

Robin: "I guess."

Anna: "You know you do."

Robin: "But that...but that's not the same thing."

Anna: "Why not?"

Robin (seems exasperated that she has to explain this): "Because they're friends."

Anna: "WELL, you can love your friends, can't you?"

Robin: "You know what I mean."

Anna: "Alright, I do.  Yes.  Now listen, the most important thing in your life is having people who you can love.  I mean they can be friends, family, even people that you don't know very well. And you're a very lucky little girl because you love a lot of people. Think of everyone that you love and everyone that loves you.  I mean that's an awful lot of people."

Robin: "Still, I wish Robbie....I mean Daddy, would live with us."

Anna: "I know you do sweetheart.  But you'll visit him a lot of times in Australia.  I n the mean time, we'll have to be happy with all the people who love you here."

Robin: "Yeah."

Anna: "Now, why don't we try to count up all the people here in Port Charles who are your friends. Now I don't mean just regular friends, but people who love you every bit as much as you love them.  Now the Ancient One, You love him don't' you?"

Robin (gets a very big smile on her face): "Uh-huh."

Anna: "And Felicia?"

Robin: "Oh, I love her a lot."

Anna: "Why else?"

Robin: "Um..Frisco."

Anna: "Yeah, and Buzz."

Robin: "Oh yes. I really love Buzz too."

Anna: "You do?  Alright.  Give me a bite of your ice cream."
