Sees Anna's Wedding Ring

 Robert and Anna meet at Kelly's the day
after the incident at the penthouse...
Robert: "More coffee?"
Anna: "No. No thank you. Look, I'm very nervous about being here,
you know Robert."
Robert: "Why? Ruby knows that you work for Sean."
Anna: "But I don't work for you."
Robert: "Look, I placed a phony call to the mayor. Ruby heard me. It
went something like that I wanted to talk to you about the financial liabilities regarding
the quarantine (NOTE: Robert had placed Sean's ship under quarantine with the okay of
doctors at GH, this way Sean couldn't move the ship or remove items from it) and that I
felt that your boss had no action against the city, da da da da da....."
Anna: "My goodness. You really think of everything don't you?
Including grappling hooks." (He catches her remark and gives her a look. She laughs.
Before he can respond, Frisco and Felicia walk in.)
Frisco: "Oh Robert." (they all say hello to one another)
"Well I'd suggest we make this a foursome but I'm gonna try out a song on Felicia
upstairs for my show tomorrow."
Robert: "Well don't let us mess up the act."
Frisco: "Okay. See you later." (Anna and Robert say goodbye to
him and as they watch them leave, Anna panics when she realized that she has lost a chain
from her neck. Robert sees it.)
Robert: "You dropped something." (He picks it up and stares at
it.)
Anna: "Yeah, my chain must have broken." (She grows
uncomfortable-there's a long pause of
silence.) "Uh, well you don't exactly throw away wedding rings, do you?"
Robert (another pause of silence): "Let's change the subject. Talk
about the future."
Anna: "Good idea."
Robert: "There's a good possibility that Sean and I might find
ourselves in prison after this. Sean for obvious reasons and me for not revealing what I
know."
Anna: "Well I have a part in this too Robert."
Robert: "Ah, I think you've suffered enough over the years gone
by."
Anna: "Well, I don't actually think a lawyer can make a case out of
that. Suffering isn't really any grounds for anything."
Robert: "It won't get to that. At least not as far as your
concerned. I'll see to it."
Anna: "What do you mean?"
Robert: "I'll make sure that you're not involved. Um, you'll be out
of Port Charles when it hits the fan. You'll have to be."
Anna (upset): "Robert, I'm not..."
Robert: "Look, I've thought about it. Don't argue with me. Just help
me find this treasure first and after that, you and I must never see each other
again."
Anna: "I see." (She gets up.)
Robert: "Just let me..." (He goes to assist her.)
Anna: "No I can see to myself." (Holly and Celia walk in)
Robert (trying to make light of the situation since Holly seems upset. He
waves and smiles brightly): "Uh, hi!"
Anna: "Sorry. Excuse me. Good night." (She quickly walks past
them while Holly stares at Robert and he stares at anything but her.)
