Robert Proposes
After looking for days, Anna catches up with Robert and Mac at Finger Lakes.  The lovers share a heartfelt reunion, while Mac wanders off and finds the mysterious Dominique at a nearby estate, Serenity.  The four share a two romantic days before Dom's domineering husband arrives.  Dom hides the Scorpios until Taub leaves.  Having escaped the Taub mansion undetected, Robert, Anna, and Mac finally a hotel to rest for the night.  There's been a storm that night, so none of the phones are working.  Mac goes into his door next door, which has an adjoining door to the room Robert and Anna are staying in.  Anna heads off for a shower, but not before Robert tells here there's something he wants to talk about privately with her after her shower.

The scene picks up with the duo sitting on their bed, toasting with plastic cups.

Anna:  "Cheers."

Robert:  "Yeah..."

Anna:  "So, what can't we talk about with your brother here, hum?"

Robert:  "Well, a couple of things on my mind lately."

Anna:  "You mean besides being fired from your job and being indicted?"

Robert:  "Um, there's that I guess.   It's funny, you know, with all the turmoil around us, I've found a degree of peace... uh, a calmness, focus you could say."

Anna:  "Really, that's remarkable."

Robert (very nervous and starting to rambling):   "Yeah, it is.  Well, talking to him (referring to Mac) about what he's concerned about and how he feels made me think about what I'm concerned about and what I feel... because what I feel is what I have been concerned about, and that concerns me... a little... um..."

Anna (laughs nervously):  "I don't know what you're saying.  (laughs again)

Robert:  "Ah... I'm getting to it."

Anna:  "Oh, okay."

Robert:  "Ah, Anna, I love you!"  (takes a deep breath)  "You mean a helluva lot to me.  What with all we've been through, well, these 13-14 years, and having a daughter, and especially the last 6 months.  Sometimes I think about it, and it really hurts, but it's a good hurt.   And I'm not prepared to give it up... I'm not... uh..." 
(he starts to get up) "You kinda know where I'm heading with this?  I... I...."
(he gets down on one knee as Anna finally realizes what he's saying.  She gasps loudly, laughs, and covers her eyes with her hand.) 

Robert:  "I want to see you first thing in the morning and last thing at night, and I want, I want to marry you."  (he's really nervous now)  "Now, now, you don't have to answer me right now.  I mean, I realize this is no bargain you're getting here.  I mean, let's face it, since we've got back together, I've been blown up, I've been shot at, I don't have a job...."

(Anna drops to her knees, throws her arms around his neck, and kisses him)
Anna:  "Yes!"  (they continue to hug) "Oh, I hate this hotel room, but I'll always remember it!"  (laughs happily)

Robert:  "I'm a lucky guy."

Anna:  "Yes, you are."  (they both laugh and kiss)
