Morning After the Proposal

Mac knocks on the door, then enters.
Anna (powdering her nose): "Hi."

Mac:"I understand you completely lost your senses last night."

Anna (stops, confused): "What? What'd you mean?"

Mac: "Well, I heard you agreed to uh, join in with Robert in a conjugal union.  What, have you lost your mind?"

Anna (defensive): "No, I don't think so."

Mac (apologetic): "Hey, I'm only teasing.  Congratulations."

Anna (smiles): "Thanks."

Robert comes out of the bathroom.  Robert: "All right, let's get outta here."

Anna: "You got everything?

Robert: "Not that much to get."

Anna: "Well, okay, I'll finish packing then."

Mac: "I'll check out and get the car."

Robert: "Five minutes then."  (Mac leaves)

Anna (grabbing Robert's elbow to stop him): "Ah, no... ah, I want to say some things."

Robert:   "Hey, look, Robin's fine, really."

Anna: "No, no, I know that.  I know she's fine.  It's uh, well, I guess I still can't belive we're going home."

Robert: "It's been a rough haul."

Anna: "Yeah... maybe, uh, oh this sounds so stupid.  It's really ridiculous.  I want to stop a minute and look at this room."

Robert (looks around, confused): "What's to look at?  It's a dump."

Anna: "No, well it might be a dump.  It is a dump."

Robert: "Thank you."  (Anna laughs)

Anna: "This is where you asked for my hand."

Robert: "And the other bits too."

Anna (laughs again): "Yeah."

Robert (slipping his arms around her waist, laying his head on her should, his lips brushing her neck):   "Oh, as I recall, you said yes.  Now we were a little out of it at the time but... hmm?..."  (he nuzzles her neck, trying to prompt her to reassure him she hasn't changed her mind.)

Anna (smiles): "I wasn't that out of it."

Robert: "Oh good."  (kisses her neck again) "Let me get that (referring to the luggage)."

Anna: "So, we should get going."

Robert: "Oh, I sure hope Sean can deal with this (referring to the mess back in PC).   I don't want any embarrassing situations  back in Port Charles."

Anna: "I want to start living a life without problems."

Robert: "If anyone can deal with the start of this, it's Sean."

Anna: "They're (referring to DA Shultz and the police) not going to arrest you, are they?"

Robert: "I don't think so.  That's the reason we want to tell Schultz we're coming in voluntarily."

Anna: "What about Mac?"

Robert: "Well, we pull out al the stops to get him off."

Anna (shaking her head): "I hope it works."

Robert takes Anna's hand, carries some luggage in the other hand, and leads her to the door. They stop and look around the room for a moment. 

Robert: "You know, this place isn't so bad really.... look... um..."  (they look at each other and quickly exit the room)
