Robert on the Hunt
At police headquarters in his temporary office (since his old one got blown up), Anna's listening to Robert's phone call to a judge. An escaped Mac is on the loose, and a suspicious Robert is trying to get a search warrant for the Eckert household. This is taken from a script, so the actual aired scene maybe a little different, depending on how much the scene was ad-libbed from the script.

Robert (on the phone): "Yes, you Honor, two search warrants. One for the Eckert residence, the other for the Rehabiliation Center. Yes, I'll hold." (Putting his hand over the receiver, he addresses Anna.) "Luv, locate Frisco for me." (She nods and moves to the other phone and calls.)

Anna (on the phone): "Is Frisco Jones there?"

Robert (on the other phone to the Judge): "Probable cause? Suspicion of harboring a fugitive from justice. Thank you. I'll send a clerk over to pick those up right away." (He hangs up, waiting for Anna to get off the other phone.)

Anna (still on the other phone): "I see. Thanks a lot." (She hangs up, turning to Robert.) "Frisco left the hospital with Felicia."

Robert: "He's probably already gotten to Tony's then. I'll call him myself. I want him to search the Rehabiliation Center."

Anna:  "Who're you assigning to search the Eckert house?"

Robert: "Myself."

Anna (surprised): "Shall I go with you? I'm happy to help..."

Robert: "No, I'll handle this one myself." (Then talking more to himself.) "I intend to go over it inch by bloody inch. If he's there, I'll find him."

The scene fades out, then returns later. Robert's finished another phone call. He checks his gun, inserts it in his shoulder holster, and puts on his jacket as Anna enters the room with some papers.
Anna (handing him one of the papers):  "Here's the search warrant for the Eckert house."

Robert (putting it in his pocket): "Good. Frisco will be by for the other one."

Anna: "You sure you don't want me to go with you?"

Robert: "Positive... I need you here."

Anna (pushing): "Two can search faster than one..."

Robert: "That's not the point. I need you to keep tabs on the cordon, make sure it's being tightened around the city. The airport, the harbor, all the roads have got to be clamped down."

Anna: "Aye, aye Captain. You sure you're not using all this as an excuse to keep me at the police station... out of harm's way?"

Robert (lying): "No. Yes. Would that be so bad, even if I were?"

Anna: "It's just that we always made such a good team..."

Robert (embracing her): "Still do... but I want you to let me handle this. Stay here. Let me have that much peace, at least." (He kisses her, then moves to exit.) "Call me at the Eckert house if anything comes up..."

Anna (tense): "Robert."  (He turns to her.) "I know what you're thinking. I know you don't want to kill your brother."

Robert (pauses at the door): "I don't want to kill anybody. I just want it over and done with."

Anna (staring hard at him): "I know. But if it's your life or his... shoot him." (He ponders, then closes the door behind him. She looks after him, concerned, and picks up the phone.)
