Robin teases Anna for Wanting to Rescue Robert (1991)
Robert's taken off after Mac, who's jumped bail. Upset that she hasn't heard from him, Anna's on the phone to Guy, but hangs up when Robin enters the room.  When Robin questions her about being worried, Anna replies she's worried what will happen when the two brother meet up.

Anna: "I don't what his brother will do.  I mean, you know, with Robert chasing after him like a bull."

Robin: "No telling what he (referring to Robert) might do either."

Anna: "Exactly.  I think I should run interference."

Robin: "In other words, interfere."

Anna: "I think I have a right to aid and assist your father."

Robin (smugly): "Interfere."

Anna: "Robin, he could be in trouble."

Robin: "So you want to come to his rescue."

Anna: "Yes, it wouldn't be the first time I saved his sorry... (thinking twice about her choice of words) situation."

Robin (being nosy): "Well, I think it's very noble and romantic.  And I thought you were mad at him."

Anna (starting to clean up the living room): "I'm not mad at him.  I'm just aggreviated by all this.  Just aggreviated."

Robin: "How's that?"

Anna: "Aggreviated?  Aggreviated.  When you're aggreviated at someone, it's completely incurrable."

Robin starts really smirking now, she knows her mum's got it bad for Robert.

Anna (stops cleaning, and looks up to see Robin smirking at her): "What are you looking at me like that for?"

Robin (smugly): "You're mad at him, and mad about him, aren't you?"  (Anna's silent)  "That's what I thought."

Anna (trying to change the subject):  "You think to much."  (She grabs Robin's hand and drags her towards the bedrooms)  "C'mon, we don't want to be late for the service (referring to Dawn's funeral)."
