Robert
and Holly throw a Christmas party to introduce Sean Donely to the
citizens of Port Charles, and Robert makes a very special introduction.
 Robert (greeting Monica
at the door): "Why don't I introduce you to the guest of honor?"
Monica: "Oh, alright."
(Robert and Monica walk into the living room; Monica greets Gail.) Gail:
"Hello, darling!"
Monica: "Hello!"
(Robert steers Monica to Sean.) Robert: "Sean? Dr. Monica Quartermaine, Sean Donely."
(Sean and Monica look at each other with obvious interest.) Monica: Hello!
Sean: "Hello yourself. Good evening. May I say that you are probably one of the most
beautiful doctors that I have ever laid eyes on."
Monica: "Yes, you may."
Sean (Cocking his head and staring at her): "So. You divorced? Single? Or just tied
into an unhappy marriage?"
Monica: "Unfortunately, none of the above!"
Sean: "I left out separated."
Monica: "Actually I happen to be married to a doctor."
Sean: "I knew I never should have passed up med school. Where is he? I'd like to
congratulate him."
Monica: "Unfortunately, he won't be here. He's tied up. My father-in-law isn't feeling
well, and he's accompanying my mother-in-law to some charity event."
Robert: "Obligations of the wealthy. The Quartermaines are the richest family in town."
