This is taken from a script, so the actual aired scene maybe a little different, depending on how much the scene was ad-libbed. |

Anna: "What a team!" Frisco: "I think I need a third hand." Sean: "I can lend you a third thumb." Buzz: "I'll help you guys in a minute." Frisco: "In a minute, it'll be too late." Felicia: "I think it's already too late." Anna: "Hang in there, Frisco!" Sean: "Where's my glue?" Frisco: "Mostly in your face." Robin: "Mostly in his hair!" (They all laugh.) Sean: "Are you having fun in the peanut gallery?" Filomenia: "Maybe the men should have some lunch now?" Buzz: "Not now. I'm on a roll... pardon the pun." (Groans all around for his bad pun.) "On the other hand, why don't Frisco and Sean have their lunch. I'll finish the job." Sean: "That's very generous of you, Doctor." Buzz: "Don't mention it." (Frisco's already reaching for a sandwich on a platter.) Frisco: "Filomenia, I love you." Felicia (too sweetly): "He says that to all his women!" Sean (coming over to join them): "What do we have here?" Frisco: "Great chow." Felicia: "Shall I give you a doggie-bag, Frisco? For your mascot?" Frisco: "What mascot?" Felicia: "The old buddy who was panting after you at the academy. Sam, who else?" (On her look, Frisco takes a bit into his sandwich.) The scene fades out, then returns later. Anna and Buzz are alone. Anna: "The glass eye has been verified as belonging to Earl Moody." Buzz: "Aha. As Alice in Wonderland says, this gets curisouser and curisouser." Anna: "So am I... getting curisouser and curisouser. I'm flying to Laurelton." Buzz: "You want company?" Anna: "Can you spare the time?" Buzz: "I should make the time. I need to dig into Terry's medical history." Anna: "That would help a lot if you can come up with something. The more background I have, the better." Buzz: "I'll call Steve, and get clearance. There won't be a problem." Anna: "I have to get hold of Bobbie before we leave. I have to make sure I've got every detail she can provide, before I go into the enemy camp." (The phone rings. Anna picks it up. It's a two-way call with Ken Morgan, who is calling from Limbo Hospital phone.) "Hello?" Ken: "It's Ken Morgan. I assume you've got a minute since you're taking a break at home." Anna (pointedly): "I'm working here. Can I get back to you?" Ken: "No. I'm not in my office. I'm visiting Ramsey at General, as a matter of fact. Let's do out business right now." Anna: "What business is that?" Ken: "I have a little tip for you, Anna. The editorial writers are sharpening their pencils. They're getting ready for you, Chief. Are you ready for them?" Anna: "Thanks for the tip." Ken: "It may be the last one you get from me. I'm running out of off-the-record-statements to protect you." Anna: "I won't be needing your protection, Mr. Morgan. I intend to have some results in the Brownstone murder very soon." (She hangs up, and addresses Buzz) "I better get some answers in Laurelton, or I'm out of a job, Buzz." The scene switches over to the brownstone hallway, where Ted Holmes meets up with Jennifer Talbot, Terry's slimy grandmother. She's smiling a grin of satisifaction. Ted: "Why the smile, Jennifer?" Jennifer (talking in code to her cohort): "The weather's changing for the better." Ted: "The weather in Port Charles?" Jennifer: "The weather in Laurelton." Ted: "You've had an update?" Jennifer: "I just got off the phone. The temperature's rising back home. A thaw is expected by afternoon." (She and Holmes smile at one another, understanding that Anna's soon visit to Laurelton will be a bust because the towns people have been instructed not to cooperate with her.) |
