Escapades:
Secret Pacts  In 1976-77, as head of the DVX, Cesar became Anna's boss when she decided to become a double agent.  Becoming obsessed with her, Cesar insisted on become her partner and expressed his feelings to her.  However, when he learned that she rebuffed him because she was involved with her other partner, Robert Scorpio, the jealous Faison masterminded the demise of Anna's marriage with the cooperation of Sean Donely, Anna and Roberts's WSB boss.  Rightly afraid that the couple would leave the WSB after their marriage, Sean was eager to  keep his two best agents, Robert and Anna, and agreed to arrange Cesar's "death" so that Cesar could leave the DVX, in exchange for breaking up the couple's marriage.  Though the plan succeed in that Robert left Anna, it backfired when Anna was injured and left the WSB.

Sinclair appeared in Paris and had Felicia Jones kidnapped so as to side track her hubby Frisco.  Her prison was hardly a dingy one, for she was kept in high style in a Parisian chateau, and was rescued by Sean and Frisco. A adventure/thriller writer, Sinclair actually turned out to be Anna's former ex-boss, DVX head Cesar Faison.  Along with his sidekicks, Desiree and Jacques, Faison toyed with Sean and Frisco in Paris, leading them on a wild goose chase through Paris and Faison's winery before allowing them to "rescue" Felicia.  Both heads of the rival spy agencies in the '70s, Sean and Faison used to secretly meet and make deals, including their final deal- to destroy Robert and Anna's marriage.

In search for some powerful crystals, Faison discovered that little Robin Scorpio had part of the crystal he was searching for, so he and his people moved to Port Charles, taking up residence at Wyndamere, on Spoon Island.  He tricked Scotty Baldwin into selling him Wyndamere, a mansion located on Spoon Island. Thrilled to discovering that Robin's mother was Anna Devane, the object of his obsession and novels, Faison tossed aside his paramour Desiree to chase after Anna.

The crystals become an afterthought as Cesar's only desire was to marry Anna and make Robin his step-daughter.  After threatening to reveal her past to Robin, Anna reluctantly agreed to marry Cesar while secretly working with Robert, Sean, and Frisco to nail Faison. Unfortunately for Faison, there was a road block in his way, namely Robert Scorpio, who wasn't about to let his archenemy have his ex-wife and only child.  Sean, Anna, Frisco and Robert arranged for a thug named Remundo to drive Faison from town.

The Cartel  In 1991, On the day of Anna's remarriage to Robert, Cesar cornered the bride right before the wedding and tried to get her to leave with him. It didn't succeed and she married her ex anyway. Later, it was revealed that Cesar was one of three members of the Cartel. He also poisoned Tiffany and Paul Hornsby's daughter in order to keep Sean and Paul in line. He also hypnotized Anna and Robert in an attempt to destroy their marriage and get Anna to do his bidding. Bill Eckert joined forces with Robert, Anna, Sean, Mac, and Paul to bring the Cartel down. Harlan was killed by Bill, and Leopold shot during a prison escape, which Cesar was successful in escaping. He then sent his enemies terrifying messages to warn them of his revenge, the last of which was the kidnapping of Anna and tried to make it look like she left with him of her own accord. Robert didn't buy it.

Unfinished Business  In 1992, Realizing Anna would never be happy without her daughter, Cesar used his mother, Nanny McTavish, to infilitrate the tight security Robert had placed around Robin. McTavish, who no one realized was Cesar's biological mother, had been Anna and Holly's former nanny. Both Holly and Robert foiled several of Cesar's attempts to kidnap Robin, and in Cesar later accidently shot his mother when she jumped in front of his gun to prevent him from killing Holly and Robert. Once again, he fled the country, this time with Robert in pursuit. Cesar, Robert, and Anna were supposedly killed in a boat explosion off the coast of Venezuela which Cesar supposedly detonated after refusing to be parted with Anna.

He's Backkkk!  In 1999, Cesar resurfaces in Switzerland, this time as Hier Krieg, a jewel fence that Luke Spenser has been dealing with over the years.  Though Luke knows of Cesar because he was responsible for Robert and Anna's supposed death, he's never seen a photo of Cesar, so Spenser has no idea who he's really dealing with.  The very much alive Faison became a partner in crime with Helena Cassadine and spent nearly a year tormenting the Spensers, and Mac and Felicia with his little tricks.

He kidnapped Lucky Spenser and kept him prisoner while letting Lucky's parents think the boy had died in a fire. For some unexplainable reason, he became obsessed with Felicia (who for some bizarre reason attracts stalkers galore) and kidnapped her. He then tried to kill her and Luke, who were rescued by Mac. Mac tried pining Katherine Bell's death on Faison, but as always the sly ex-spy escape with the help of now foe, Helena. Faison told a disbelieving Luke that his son was alive just before Helena had Faison's boat exploded. So once again, Faison is supposedly dead. For now.
