Resides:  Mac resides at 1020 North Yale in Port Charles, New York (which is his brother's home) until his separation from Felicia.  

Escapades: 
The Black Sheep Arrives  In 1991, Mac arrived in Port Charles on the sinking ELQ Tracy ship, and spent a few months feuding with older brother Robert before the two made amends.  Mac managed to convince his angry older brother that he had actually gone for help after causing their plane to crash.  Their parents and Robert's fiancee were all killed in the crash, and Robert had mistakenly thought that Mac had left him and their family to die. The Scorpio brothers then teamed up to bring down the evil Cartel.  Mac served as best man in Robert's wedding to Anna, and also fell in love with the married Dominique Taub. The first opening night of his club, The Outback, was for a private celebration of his brother's upcoming june wedding to Anna.

The Guardian  In 1992, when Robert left Port Charles on a suicide mission to save wife Anna from arch-enemy Cesar Faison and the WSB, he left in Mac's care their daughter, Robin, whom Mac raised.  Robert's other wife, Holly, helped Mac with Robin for a while, and Dominique's jealously over Holly caused her to call off her relationship with Mac.  However, Mac and Felicia Jones spent the most time as Robin's guardians.  When nutcase Ryan Chamberlain went after Felicia, Mac stepped in and played knight in shining armour. Mac's Australian accent is beginning to disappear with each day he stays in the States.

Separate Ways  Mac proposed to and almost married Felicia in 1994, but their nuptials were derailed by Ryan who showed up with a bomb.  He later backed out of their relationship after he learned that she had gotten pregnant by her ex-husband, Frisco. Instead, he and Felicia remained close friends and partners in The Outback and their PI agency.

New Friends, Old Fears  In 1995, Mac became involved with schemer Katherine Bell, and was devastated when his neice, Robin, contracted HIV from her boyfriend, Stone. Mac also become best friends with Kevin Collins, Ryan's twin brother, and the two had many hilarious adventures together, like going undercover in drag.

The Commish  In 1996, Luke and Katherine badger Mac into agreeing to become police commissioner of Port Charles.  His relationship with Katherine fell apart after she was shot by Stefan Cassadine, who she then fell in love with. Unfortunately for Mac, her greatest love was money and prestige. Mac's feud with Jasper "Jax" Jacks was explained when Jax's supposedly dead wife, Miranda, showed up and it was revealed Mac was interested in her.

A Full Plate  In 1997, Mac continues running the Outback while trying to keep his best friend, Kevin, from losing it and killing Felicia. He also tries unsuccessfully to get Robin to dump mob flunky Jason Morgan.

Seeing Double  In 1998, after Mac is kidnapped by Tess and look-alike James, he and Felicia went undercover pretending to be engaged, which eventually led to the two admitting they were still in love with one another.  They married before family and friends.  Mac and Jax also called a truce to their feud, though Mac still dislikes Jax's older brother, Jerry.  He also has a hard time dealing with Robin's now intimate relationship to mobster Morgan.

More Mob Crap  In 1999, Mac's wounded in a shootout at The Outback, where he throws himself over Robin to protect her from the gunfire. The hit, ordered by Jason's rival Moreno, causes Mac to hate the mob even more, so he's thrilled when Robin finally breaks up with Jason and returns to school in Paris.

Separate Ways 2  In 2000, Mac decides to separate from Felicia, whom he believes is being unfaithful to him with rival Luke Spenser.

Partners in Law  In 2001, Edward has Mac removed as police commissioner only to hire him back. Mac, along with tempermental sidekick Taggert, spend the rest of the year trying to arrest someone, anyone. He and Felicia also remain friends and work on solving the Sorel murder together.

I Remember You  In 2002, Mac is briefly reunited with sister-in-law Anna, who tells him that Robert is indeed dead.
